RE2 came out on PC back in 98/99. Good luck getting it to run properly (even on XP). Silent Hill 2 came out on PC in 2002 but it's buggy as hell.

The Evil Within is a freaky game with traps set up kind of like the movie SAW. There are trip lines and guys with chainsaws and there are bosses in this creepy hotel/hospital type place. If I was a kid, I would be completely scared shitless of the main bosses at times. It took awhile to beat it on the easy level. One of the characters in the game reminds me of the girl in horror film The Ring.

When more titles come to VR everything in this thread will be forgotten. shite can get intense. Not even just talking about the resident evil game.

F.E.A.R. is the only game horor that scared me and that I like playing.
