Insert 2 cue tips with the cotton head cut off into the back holes to stop the fan while console is on. Wait about 5 minutes and the 3 flashing red lights will change to 2 flashing red lights (meaning overheating). Turn console off, unplug power cord and turn back on. System should reset itself and the RROD will be gone. Worked for me last night so I hope it works for you.

You will almost certainly be getting another RROD soon.

Just goes to show you how big a piece of shite that console was. People actually thought it was better than ps3

Xbox fanboys wrapping their xbox in a towel and baking it in an oven to get it working again. Goodness

I had 1 RROD in 11 years (2003-2014), and that was shipped out and returned to me in 10 days.

I WISH my other electronics had that degree of longevity and relevency over that period of time.

Dumbass take is dumb.

I ended up just buying a new one when mine eventually RROD'd because they had finally included the built in wi-fi and HDMI.

I had two 360s, an original white one that survived college and never had a RROD and one is the new black versions.

Sold the first to buy the 2nd.

FYI, intercoolers are your best friend.

They can't have it. I moved it to my bedroom when I bought my XB1.

And it's still working great.
