Is there some tactical advantage my noob arse (level ~103 so not really) is unaware of for why it at times appear to be fricking MANDATORY for us to team kill each other at the beginning of games on Metro?
At least 50% of the time a bunch of team killing happens at the start of the game there and it drives me crazy

Used to play with a friend of mine. We would try to get on opposite teams and I would go to the corner of some large map and he would drive a tank or jeep to me. I would load the vehicle up with c4 and he'd drive it back to his team.

Team killing pisses me off since I pretty much only play hardcore. When I get purposely killed at the beginning, I go on a crusade to kill the offender 4 times before the match ends.

See this kind of team killing doesn't bother me,
1. It's creative
2. It isn't easy
3. It takes some work
4. I imagine yall dont do it every single time on the same map
Those things don't bother me, it's just that so often on metro some asshat will wait for everybody to get in front of him as they run towards the objective and he tosses a grenade/noobtubes/just shoots everyone in the back. It's even worse when ppl get justifiably pissed and start shooting back so we end up with a shitton of TK and have almost certainly lost the game bc of Metro's design
