I disagree.
It was when it first came out, sure. But now players are more active than ever. They may hold a spot/area down but not often are they just waiting behind a door or wall.
The skill gap has been been set. Those who camp like that are limited in their skill. The only way you are going to kill me or anyone in my squad is if you are camping like that with a shotgun and then you better be a good shot with that shotgun
I would always put my money on the aggressor vs the camper because their style promotes growth and they have come across many more situations than a guy who sits behind a door with a thumb up their arse.

I agree with you I have no problem with camping. The goal is to win. Some games I play I'm in a passive campy mood, other times I get aggressive, just depends on how comfortable with the situation I am. That's solo's though and I dont really like playing solo. I have game chat on mute, dont really need to listen to that cancer.

We have 2 or 3 of us that really know TS well so we pay $2/month and rent a TS Server for us.

I think that statement it too general. I have some chicken dinners under my belt. I camp if I feel like it will help me win, I play aggressive if I feel like it will help me win. I can do either.

I do agree with you here. The way I got better at the game was purposely jumping on the hot spots so I HAD to get into combat. That takes me back to I have to agree with your first statement if you apply it to people who mainly camp or camp exclusively.

Why pay $2/month when you can host your own for nearly no performance loss on your PC?

From my FFXIV days, the rift between TS and Discord users was weird and kind of fierce. TS guys straight up turned their noses up at anyone who would use the poor man's chat app

I used to like that for TS, but the overall betterness of discord pulled me away after using it a little bit

The takeaways:
-Its a marathon not a sprint, however we could see a full release in about 6 months. possibly this year
-Working on two new maps (desert and Adriatic) and 3 new vehicles
-reworking audio and vaulting seem to be their top priority as well as optimization.
-bullet penetration (he-he) is being re-worked
-blue-zone revisions are being discussed and hopefully tested soon
-working on server performance and opening up new regional servers.

I like the fog brah. And the night doesn't need to be pitch black. Just have a full moon thing going. Sure would make finding the muzzle flashes sweet.

Make car headlights always on when driving, spawn with a flashlight, some houses lights are always on, just some things that would be cool on a night time server
