Basically, a twitter battle between anonymous and lizard squad is all that's certain.
They are claiming a cyber war is going on with hack attempts, anti hack countermeasures, releasing personal info of each other etc
Could be mostly fiction. Was entertaining. If psn stays up all weekend, anon won. If not..Lizard squad struck again

Should I be worried about Sony having my credit card information? I know a DDOS attack has nothing to do with them accessing my info, but Sony seems pretty inept with security all around

Not necessarily. Sony often keeps the network down even after attacks have finished in order to clean up/upgrade

There is a new message up that "Sony Entertainment Network is currently undergoing maintenance."
Anon tends to believe that this means Sony has 100% control of their servers (why the frick wouldn't they??) and that things should be good by morning time.

I gotcha. I'm settling for The Last of Us right now. First time playing it on PS4. Certainly not a bad alternative.
