Doesn't Netfix have 4K content? Cable is getting antiquated, honestly, so digital content is going to go hand in hand with 4K production and content.

I've never even seen 4K Blu-rays at the store (Wal-Mart, Hastings)

Only place I've seen them is on Amazon.

Literally every new movie is in 4K.

And the year is nowhere near over.

Not true, also stores get a fraction of copies compared to the standard bluray. They still have a way to go.

Yes it most certainly is true, every new semi major movie right now going forward releases in 4K at the exact same time as standard DVD and bluray.

Target as well, considering most people shop at those two that's all that matters.

4K has grown a lot lately but I wouldn't call it mainstream. DVDs still sell heavy. It seems as though blu Ray growth got slowed by digital. I certainly didn't try and move all my DVDs to blu Ray.

Lol where the frick else do people buy blu-rays?

Wal-Mart, Hastings (Going out of business) and Target are the only physical places I can even think of.

I buy most of my blu-rays on Amazon, but if I randomly want a movie I just go to Wal-Mart like the rest of the country.

I'm gonna need to check out a 4k movie. I don't have a 4k tv but my parents do.

And I own a frick ton of blu-rays. I just don't like digital. I'm the same way with books, I absolutely have to have the physical copy.

For movies I own physical copies of my favorite movies. I don't read that much but it has to be a real book. Kindle is hard to read on.

I watched Deadpool last night and that was amazing in fully loaded 4K.

The hype is definitely warranted for me, these 4K movies on a nice 4K set are quite an experience. Some of those scenes though, they come to life a bit too much.

Yep, so glad I swapped mine out with some. Takes 2 minutes and is so much better, the little extra stick height makes all the difference.

It's good, no big issues or anything. Supposed to be better than the barebones Samsung 4K BR player.

Had a few frame drops and one black screen during a scene in Deadpool but just for a split second.

4k is so awesome. I have the Samsung 4k player, but I'm giving that to my dad once the NEO comes out. definitely gonna trade in my normal ps4 for that. Once scorpio is out ill trade in my day one xbone for that too. great time to be a gamer

The hype for 4k is real. The picture is so damn crisp. The revenant is the best looking 4k movie so far. The visuals are on another level than other 4k movies I've seen. The only thing that pisses me off about buying 4k blu rays is that a lot of them don't come with slipcovers. So I'm gonna have to buy some thick photo paper and make my own on photoshop.
