Yeah, it's every position. I would say at least two hours. Drafting starters and key backups should move quickly. It's pretty much like a fantasy draft in real life. I believe you have a minute or two for your pick, but they sort out the players by best available so it's easy.

Cool. Always wanted to do an online dynasty but never knew enough people who played on the same system. Think this will go multiple seasons and have user rookie drafts?

Also I'm down for either draft date.

For sure. We got through like 15 season with the last NCAA game.

Trying to figure out a way to transfer the ncaa draft classes to the ps4 but idk if it would cross platform with a USB. Would be nice to have real life players to scout/draft, but the NCAA had to go f that up

So yall play against each other if the scheduled team is in league and just play AI if not? How many hours a week does this result in?

Haven't played Madden in about 7 years and never online but was thinking of picking it up and joining you guys if there's still openings. (I may really suck)

Yes, and the good part about this in lieu of NCAA is if there is a game that needs to be simmed vs a user it will not make or break a season. We should be able to cruise a lot faster.

In the ncaa dynasty, we waited a lot since a single loss would almost eliminate a user from the championship. With NFL we have playoffs and we expect there to be losses to the CPU in there as well.

I would think less than 6 hours a week, just pending on practice, game prep, scouting, and fooling around in the franchise. With 2 advances, you could get by with only 3 hours a week I would think as the minimum.

Does the game allow you to upload draft classes or even edit them, since there is no longer an NCAA?

I think practice helps with player confidence (not 100% sure, but that is what I gathered though reading about it)

Game prep allows you do gain experience points for players to make them better.

Scouting is apparently completely overhauled this year so I have no idea

Watched this video about the new scouting/drafting system the other day and it explains it a bit

So I'd imagine there's a slight learning curve of I haven't played in more than five years.

I'd like to join up though if you got room.

So it looks like you have to scout every week. If you skip a week then you lose half of your scouting points. It looks like it will be more fun (at least for me) from that video.

Getting combine results and grades at the draft seems pretty legit.

Pretty sure you can download /upload draft classes from other player's similar to how you did with NCAA rosters. I may be wrong on that.

Either way I don't think it will matter since our pace will be a lot faster than some person spitting out created draft classes on Operation Sports

maybe if we were doing 15 minutes quarters

I watched Brandon go through the first few parts of the franchise last night. The game prep stuff takes no time. You have 60 "hours" of prep time to put towards players for experience/confidence. You select the players you want to put it towards and it takes no time at all.

The fantasy draft will be very interesting. You get 1:30 for the first 10 or 15 rounds. It then goes to 1:00, and then 0:45 from rounds 25 and on. Once you get to about round 30 it starts to be a bunch of players that are meh and that's about where people could let the cpu draft the rest.

I would recommend that everyone run through a mock draft just to be familiar with the setup and make sure it goes smoothly.

We've also decided that everyone will be making new head coaches after we pick our teams. Makes the most sense and everyone will be starting fresh with coaching xp.
