RULES:

Gameplay Settings:
- All Pro or All Madden difficult settings (Adjusted Sliders), 7 minute quarters.
- Updated Rosters
- Advances will be twice a week. Im going to say Mondays/Thursdays for now, but that will be flexible. Football season is upon us, and my Saturdays will be dedicated to College football and NFL on Sundays. I'd imagine the majority feels the same...
- No restarts unless your connection fails.
- No cheeser(Go for it on 4th every time, no huddle, Run with your QB every play, nano blitzes etc.)
- One of the new features in this year's game is that the commish can choose the outcome of simmed games by selecting which team gets the win. Stuff comes up, people have lives... If you can't play your game in time, no big deal. Just keep us updated and informed and you'll get wins for those games. If a user goes MIA for more than 2 advances then the sims will be decided by the EA gods.

All users must create a coach after selecting their team. We want everyone to start on a level playing field. The level of the head coach plays a big part on how much players progress and whatnot.

Trades:
As long as the trades are fair and both users agree, then have fun with it. I've seen shady trades happen before, so if anyone has any objections with a certain trade then just speak up and we'll discuss it. Trades with the cpu are still up in the air. It will either be decided by a league vote or by the commish.

Mixing up the Playcalling: Varying your playcalling on both offense and defense is a requirement.
On defense, be sure to mix up coverages, bltizes, etc.

Restarts: Each team is allowed only 1 restart for the entire season. Problems do happen sometimes so don't use your restart if you are losing a game. Anything more than 1 restart per season will result in the game results being thrown out and simmed.

OFFENSE:

Subsitutions: You can't sub a:

-HB/WR/ATH for a QB unless running wildcat

Otherwise feel free to use Formation subs

You can go for it on 4th Down:

-Whenever you are across the 50 yard line with 1 yard or less to go, you are permitted to for it on 4th down.
-If you are behind by two touchdowns or more in the second half, you can go for it whenever you like.
-If you are the losing team in the 4th quarter, you can go for it whenever you like.

Hurry Up Offense: All teams are allowed to run the "hurry up" offense in both two minute drill situations. Any team losing in the 4th quarter is permitted to hurry up as often as they like. When using the hurry up offense, please allow your opponent to set their defense before snapping the ball.

Playclock: Choose your plays as quickly as possible on offense and make every effort to do so before the play clock gets close to running out.

Running Up the Score: There is a scoring cap of 70 points in a blowout. If you exceed this, you get one warning and then the next time your game results will be thrown out and the game will be simmed.
- Do what you want against the CPU as long as it's within the 70 point cap. Half the fun in these leagues is watching users bate it our for rushing/passing/receiving to titles.
- This rule is pretty much in place for user games and to make stats somewhat realistic. Just don't be a dick to other users and there won't be any issues.

DEFENSE:

Moving Players: On defense, shifting linebackers and the defensive line is permitted. However, if you move a individual defensive player manually before the snap you must control that player at the snap of the ball. Exception: Lining up players to correct positions so they are covering the correct person/area.

Blitzing: While blitzing is certainly a part of the game, please be realistic when doing so, and do not use it excessively. Any attempt to confuse the AI when blitzing is prohibited. This also falls under the rules for mixing up playcalling.

SPECIAL TEAMS:

Fake Punts and FGs: Any fake punt or field goal must follow the same rule used when going for it on fourth down. If you are allowed to go for it on 4th down in that situation, you can also fake the punt or field goal. Faking a FG or punt is part of the game and provides "the element of surprise," but please be realistic. These are utilized in NCAA but on a limited basis, so please keep that in mind.

Onside Kicks: Onside kicks are permitted at any time by the losing team in the 4th quarter only
