Have none of you ever taken an economics course? Since when is letting someone else hold your money interest free for half a year a good idea? Do you feel you will end up spending it if its in your bank account and not be able to pay when launch day comes?
I have both of the consoles pre-ordered through amazon if for nothing else if I change my mind about either of them I click "cancel" and that's it.
I really would like to hear people's reasoning.

When did I say this? I didn't switch until I could find somebody to charge me in full. I switched because at the time I had ordered a standard XB1 and figured I might as well get the Day One edition(which was at the time sold out at amazon, but available at BB)

I preordered a ps4 from best buy. You have to put at least 25 down. Switched from Amazon bc I wasn't guaranteed to have it the day of the release.

Just to update: after posting about Best Buy charging in full immediately, I did go back realize they put the money back.
At first I panicked that my order was cancelled, then I realized they just validate you have the funds available to purchase, then put it back into your account.

Got mine from Gamestop. My store isn't too far from my house and the people there are cool.

Plus GameStop is the only place where you can preorder and pay on it over time.
