I remember a press conference a year or two ago presenting vita remote play with God of War III. As of 2/21/2013, there is no possible way to play God of War III on a vita.
As excited I got during their press conference of game streaming, I quickly remembered that and realized it may never come to fruition. In 2013, you still can't cross talk between games with friends on PS3.

Well, you can have text chat. That's been around for 5 years or so though. Voice chat while playing different games would be nice though.

MS makes it's bread and butter on Windows and always will. They can afford to take risk and sadly throw money away chasing those risk. They are still strong and not nearly in the financial crisis that Sony is in.

Not even close. Before Kinect pushed the 360 sales back up, the last year 360 "won" was 2008. Since then, it has been outsold each year. That said, sales for both HD consoles increased as price drop and redesigns hit.
I wouldn't even look at 2012 and 2013 though. The industry is in pretty rough shape. Only thing selling very well is the 3DS. PS3 and 360 were both down 20%+ YoY in 2012.

I will likely roll first with whichever next gen console can nail game streaming. Spectating and handing over control 
ETA: In that screen they showed of that one gamer/friend/profile, was that supposed to be his streamed feed of the game he was playing - or just a generic portion/trailer of the game?
