Glad I didn't install it. I pretty much stopped installing new drivers unless they improve a game I'm playing.

Well it's supposed to add SLI to fallout 4, which I was intending to mess around with tonight. I rolled back to the last driver anyway.

I use Deepbot. it has all the features that help keep things moving (like the points system). I pay a monthly fee for it, but don't honestly feel like it causes too many issues as it pertains to my stream.

I'm definitely putting my OS on it, along with a few games. Should be here Friday, can't wait.

I was purging my PSN friends list a little and saw we are friends. When is the last time you turned your PS4 on?

If the system would get games which aren't on the PC, I might play. It is useless to ms atm.

So...not-so-funny but funny story...I had plugged my pc into a cheap surge protector temporarily until my new battery back-up arrived. Back-up arrived, and I never swapped them out. Power flickered and killed the outlet on the surge protector. Tried to turn on pc...nothing. Tried other outlets on the surge protector...nothing. Moments of panic.....swapped out the surge protector for the battery back-up, power on pc...angels start singing.

Any good free virus scanner/removal software out there? Having some issues after attempting to install Windows 10 off of a pirated version of Windows 7.

Whatever is going on has just started today and its completely bottlenecking my CPU (not related to streaming):

csrss is indeed a trojan.

BitDefender has a free 30 day trial, use it.

I bought ESET Nod 32 last night for 1 year/$40. It has cleaned up my system amazingly, but the csrss.exe file is still there. What should I do?

It's not necessarily a Trojan because it's also the name of a system file.

I think at some point in the next couple of years I'm going to replace all my spinners with 1TB+ 2.5" SSDs and use PCIe for OS. Might coincide with my next upgrade (maybe cannonlake/pascal).

Skylake is experiencing its own bendgate. Apparently the PCB substrate is thinner, bending under some high-pressure cooler mounts.

Think is incredibly fast, I really wasn't sure how much I'd notice it coming from the 850 EVO, but man, I notice it for sure.

Just so so fast.

Did a clean Windows install too.

Also, something I randomly discovered with this clean Windows install...

Ever since I got my 144Hz monitor, I've just used AMD Catalyst to select 144Hz and enable FreeSync, and I had always noticed a difference after doing so compared to my regular 60Hz second monitor.

Well after doing all of that, I went into System Information > Components > Display, to record the driver version before Windows 10 updated to the first major update from a few weeks ago, and I noticed it said under Resolution 2560x1440x60 Hertz and I thought wait wtf? I had already selected everything in Crimson and thought I could tell 144Hz was on.

So maybe this entire time it wasn't actually on? I went to the advanced adapter settings within the control panel, clicked on the Monitor tab, and changed it from 60Hz to 144Hz, now it shows properly in System Info, so idk. Maybe CCC just changes it for in game? And the display adapter settings within Windows changes it for Windows/Non gaming?
