Based on some people here, yes.

to the point where they refuse to buy another platform? yes.

many in the master race hivemind refuse to touch a console. many ps4 owners would immediately sell an Xbox one even of it were given to them because they don't want to have anything to do with the console.

it's not a problem that's unique to this place

if you like playing games though I don't understand the need to associate your identity with a platform and miss out on games on other platforms

Way to judge, I have no feeling in my left thumb, pointer, and middle finger on my left hand. I can't use WASD or a controller because of it. I rail on no key mapping all the time.

You may be a misguided fool, but you should still be glad that master racers are dragging the industry upwards. Otherwise the ceiling for consoles would still be Doom 2.

Refuse or choose not to? They aren't the same thing. Some people aren't going to spend their money on something they aren't interested in or won't use often. I know we are all OT ballers but some of us still budget ourselves.

refuse

like I said, you could give a lot of those people the platform they despise for free and many of them would turn around and sell it or give it away

I just don't think it's as many people as you think. People like to troll on here.

Yep, there are a handful of games I would love to play if I could that are console exclusive. I have to admit that I sometimes can't figure out when people are joking and when they are not since I don't read console related threads, but when I encounter that I tend to just back away and let it be.

Doesn't appear that way the great majority of the time.

Maybe it's just my perception. It's hard to read tone through text so I just assume people are full of shite on here.

For me, PC vs. Console boils down to this:

If you are a hardcore console fanboy who only plays Battlefield and Call of Duty, you are doing yourself a disservice. FPS will always be better on PC and there is no denying that. If you are playing platformers and 3rd person shooters / RPGs, then console all the way. There is room for both, each side has strengths and weaknesses but we at least need to be able to recognize them.

That's why I play different games on different platforms. A game like Dragon Age is traditionally better on PC because of the tactical features it allows. I like playing JRPG's on handheld when possible. FPS on PC, Ubisoft on console. It's nice having options.

How is this better than on PC? Serious question.

So I don't spend the whole game cussing their bad ports. I usually end up getting them on PC since I just have the PS3 but if I had the PS4 I would just get AC games on there.

I always hear Ubi runs like shite on PC. Never really played any of their titles on the platform.

It's an older game obviously, but I've been playing AC2 on my PC for a bit and it's run fine for me. I play it with a controller, though, so maybe that's why I don't notice anything. I played and beat it on the 360 the first time.
