Finding pirates gold and searching for el Dorado isn't realistic either.
It's an action and adventure fiction. It isn't real. Just like how he can climb with just a rope and never get tired. And mother nature strategically placed ledges all over to help you go exactly where you need to go.
Just suspend belief. It's a fricking video game. Same goes for idiots that shite on movies. "Well that wouldn't happen in real life." Yeah, no shite. It's purely for entertainment, and to stimulate the mind.

most ridiculous and unbelievable thing I've seen put in a game that's supposed to be somewhat realistic.
Lol how is the game even 'somewhat' realistic. You are the greatest rock climber the world has ever seen... By far. Oh, and all your friends are too
You can drop 30 feet and still grab on to an inch long petrusion from a completely vertical rock face.... Multiple times
Enemies can't see you in tall grass even though your back is clearly visible.
But enemies not cutting his rope is what took it over the edge?

I feel pirate gold is found more often than people give it credit for lol.
Regardless, that scene was still so over the top compared to most things in the series. I'm over it though. All the pirate lore on madagascar has me in so it's fine.

For a couple minutes i thought it was going to end like the beginning of the last of us.

Another game I couldn't get into because the gameplay was so fricking shitty to me. Story was good though. Whoever the writers at Naughty Dog are, they're the real MVP.

Gameplay wasn't the best but the story carried it. Great damn story.

100%
They know how to set you up emotionally to get invested into these characters.

I enjoy just about any tps. Besides the order. I didn't mind the gameplay but there barely was any.

I generally do not care about graphics in games too much but these are just so fantastic and really help make the climbing fun. On Chapter 14 right now. It's a blast. GOTY for me right now.

The naturally movement when climbing feels great. Makes it less of a task and enjoyment to climb around structures.
That will probably go to a DLC.

Just what a fitting ending. I wouldn't me opposed to a franchise relaunch starring Cassie. It'd totally compete with tomb raider

When you walk around with no one there I totally thought zombies would pop out.

Just finished collecting everything myself. Man there are some good hiding places
Just found out that you can play Crushing and use all those boosters like infinite ammo while you work to get that achievement/trophy, so that's cool.

I beat it on crushing my first playthrough. There are some spots later in the game that are ridiculously hard. I probably died 50+ times each ar Avery's mansion and when you're chasing Sam on the beach. Infinite ammo would do wonders though

The end feels like it is impossible on crushing.

And to add to that, Nathan Drake can whoop 7ft 300+ pound men's arse and whoop 5 or 6 men's arse at one time but in this game he gets thrown around like a rag doll and gets his arse beaten by a 110 pound freaking woman. Go figure

just finished. tbh, i expected more given the team that was working on it and all the hype. a technical marvel with sound mechanics and refined gameplay, but a flawed script with some cringeworthy sections (a swordfight, really? REALLY?!) and tedious, repetitive elements
cute epilogue at the end. i may replay on Crushing, but i dont see myself playing it again after that. will probably trade in for overwatch
3/5

The length of cutscenes and the amount of stupid climbing which slows down the pace has set me back. Still only on Chapter 11 or 12 because of this.
I'm enjoying the game but its falling into the "Never will finish another Uncharted game territory".
