Can I just watch the cut scenes from Uncharted 3 on youtube and then jump into this? I'm not dropping the money on the collection just to play 3.

If he's played through the first two, even just the first one, cinematics is all he's missing. It's a legit strategy.

2, 1, 3 is how I'd rank Uncharted. That said, 3 is still a very good (if sometimes frustrating) game that is worth playing. I did like the last bit of 3 more than 2.

i have played through the series several times but i have been watching playthrough on youtube to refresh myself before i pick up the game today

Played for a few hours last night. Really good so far. Haven't tried multiplayer yet, well because you got to dload a huge update.

Haven't yet but this is the most effort Naughty Dog has ever put into multi-player. Also the beta was pretty fun.
