I just randomly checked Prime Now with "We are sold out of the Nintendo Switch" on their front page. Searched for it and they had it listed.
Will wait and make sure it wasn't a mistake but I have some hope of getting one today now.

I played a little with the joy cons out of the grip and the screen propped up with the kickstand. It worked pretty well.
Haven't popped in Super Bomberman yet but probably will do that soon.

ETA: But it's pretty much gotta be there for docking purposes. Unless they decided to put it on top and you put it in upside down.

This guy is an arse. The switch is a console that converts to a handheld. Quit bitching about the charging port and put it in the docking station on your tv.
Switch is awesome. Can't wait for the nes and snes games.

Went to a nearby Walmart at 5:40am. They had like 6 black ones and 6 red/blues. I stood in a line of two that eventually went to 5 at 6am When I was leaving I saw a mad rush. Whew.

Just waiting for MK8~ I used to be #1 in the world for the penguin level on Wii for about 24 hours for TT. Took 7 hours to get there Zelda has been fun since the last one I touched was when I was 5 years old (gold cartridge, original Nintendo)

How good is this system? Too early to tell? Geared more towards the mobile game market?

Right now it's a bit bare bones as it doesn't have the virtual console and obviously not a huge amount of games (although if Zelda is as good as it seems, and Snipperclips is as good as people say, it's a good launch lineup).
That said, I love it so far. But it depends on what you want and/or need out of a console. If you're single and don't care that much about handheld gaming (or don't travel much), you'll probably need to really be a nintendo fan to make it worth it. But I love the versatility of it. And I have a PS4 so it's not my only console.
To be fair, even if all of that doesn't really apply to you, it's still kind of cool to play a new huge Zelda on a handheld with some sports or something that you don't really care about on in the background. Something like Mario Kart would work great for that, just jump in for 15 minutes at a time.
