Urf was fun when it first came out. everyone was just playing around and enjoying flashing everywhere and trying out champs. Then the tryhards just wanting to win came in and took the light-hearted spirit out of it.

That's why AR URF, for all its faults, is better than vanilla URF:

Man, why does this game have to be so maddening?

Everything was looking up, I was on my way to gold.. then everything dropped off the face of the earth. 5 losses in a row over two days and now Im back into S2..

Going to take a pretty lengthy break and see if my luck with my team "pool" changes. I've gotten a lot of toxic people lately. It's given me the blues.

It really is frustrating.

I just don't understand the mindset of the people who play this game.

The biggest issue I face with teammates is that they don't understand how to play from behind. They die twice in lane then go back the third time and play the lane like it's still even, then bitch and tilt that they've now died a third time.

The second biggest issue I face with my teammates is people not understanding their limitations as a player. I can't tell you how many teams I've been on that have thrown games because my teammates think they can 1v4 the other team at any given point. This isn't LCS, you aren't Bjergsen or Doublelift so stop trying to make highlight plays that have a 0.0001% chance of coming out positive.

It is what it is and you just have to play through it, but I certainly understand wanting to murder teammates.

This x10000

If someone gives up a couple kills early, at this level, the GAME IS NOT OVER. The people who tilt after 10 min of a game for any reason are the problem. God forbid that someone else gives up an early kill, because those types of people will flame the ever living hell out of you...

I played ADC last night, and I had a pretty toxic support. I had to back early due to being poked out of lane (probably my fault) and decided to get 2 daggers on Cait and a couple potions since I only had ~600g. Sup flamed me the rest of the game for being a bad adc and not getting any ad items and instead got the daggers.

Look, I'm a High Silver, Low gold player, I'm no expert. If I did something wrong just tell me and I'll learn from it/adjust. He basically threw the game because of that. He died a couple times in lane doing something stupid and tilted me in the process. My mistake with shop won't lose us a game in S1/2..

It's hard to play with.

I tell people all the time, in our elo, the enemy team is inbred level retarded. They WILL frick up royally at some point, just wait for it.

People are just very unaware of the flow of the game. I've been in bot lanes where we got absolutely shite on in the first 5-10 minutes. At that point, you evaluate your other lanes, and the team comps. If your other lanes are ahead, you're in good shape. Or, maybe your team's comp doesn't lend itself to doing well early. You just never know what can happen.

I always imagine a losing lane like someone who just got shot. Instead of remaining calm, putting pressure on the wound, they find a rusty shard next to them then stab themselves in the eye. Like dude, relax, focus and adjust on the fly. Don't panic.

As for the double daggers, probably not the best buy, but it's certainly no reason for someone to lose their mind. If find myself in that situation, I typically grab a seconds dorans blade. I'm not sure what the consensus is on that decision, but I can't imagine the extra HP, AD and slight lifesteal can hurt while being behind.

Maybe boots if the enemy comp is skill shot reliant, but I dunno.

Exactly, I don't have that situation come up very often. Doran's blade probably is a much better choice. I'll do that next time.

I honestly am just going to go back to playing Mid top and play my game and not worry about anyone else in lane. Much easier that way.

I think in that situation your suppose to buy a Cull. I usually dont see that situation very often myself but I have seen DL/Sneaky buy culls after being poked out.

I forgot about that item. Definitely seems like a solid option.

That's what I did. It's still maddening though. You do your part to win your lane/help other lanes or not allow your laner to impact the game, then the rest of your team goes full retard and dies a collective 15 times in the first 10 minutes

I can't even get my cull stacked before the game is over. People just want to win/lose in the first few waves. It's so stupid.

It really is. They want to be balls to the wall, straight up PvP before the minions even spawn.

If you're gonna do that, pick something like Draven bot or Pantheon top. Don't go Malphite and try to 1v1 the Quinn at level 2

Really? I used to buy this item on my first back as Gangplank and never had any issues.

Or did you mean dark seal?

dark seal
My new favorite item. No one gets it in low elo and it helps so much to just stomp those low elo turds into the ground. I get it every ekko game.

Another gripe I'm having is people just seeming like they want to straight up play team death match or something. Chasing people into jungle when top is fixing to take inhib...

First ranked game of the night. Draven ADC, his first death at 6 mins, immediately starts being incredibly heinous to our support. Dies again at 10 mins, then afk's, bragging about how this isn't his main account.

We lose the 4v5.

Losing games without even being given a chance, sick of this shite.

Do yourselves a favor, if you have a draven, vayne, yasuo or rive on your team, dodge immediately. I've never met one that wasn't a pretentious arse hole.

Literally just had the same scenario happen in my 2nd game (draven @ ADC bc im too drunk to notice). Except this time, no one flamed, no one afk'd, no one tilted.

And we fricking won. People could win so many games if teammates just don't freak out like children in the first 10 minutes.

ETA: Third game we lose, because again, someone gets all pissed off and afk's.

Literally losing games because my teammates can't control their temper.

10 ban system coming to all queues with patch 7.11.

All 5 players ban at the same time, can hover who you are going to ban and it shows as a smaller icon next to your pick intent portrait.

That's cool. Should speed up pick/ban. After getting back into SC2 a bit, one thing I hate about going back to league is how fricking long everything takes.
