I typically only watch NALCS matches, unless it's an international event, in which case I'll watch a few matches that don't have NA teams participating.
Otherwise, I just can't get into it.

I always watch NA, and usually watch most of LCK and a decent chunk of LPL as well. Rest not at all. Enjoyed LPL the most last split.

Even if the occasional stomp feels great, every game of League should feel hard-fought and competitive on both sides. With that in mind, /remake lets you mash the eject button at the beginning of a 4v5 game, ending the match consequence-free, and allowing everyone to move on to a more equitable rumble. Here’s how it works:
If any player is dc’d or flagged afk for at least ninety seconds at the three minute mark, and no there’s been no first blood, all players on the short-handed team are prompted to /remake with a chat message
All players on that team have one minute to prompt a vote by typing /remake in chat
The vote needs at least two of four players (30% of players in game) to agree, at which point the game ends All players connected to the game basically pretend the game never happened, gaining or losing no LP/IP/XP, and seeing no change to their overall W/L records
The dc’d player (or players) takes full LP losses or drop a promo game, and are also flagged by Leaver Buster
Note for ranked: To protect competitive integrity, Diamond V and above players will also take a loss when the dc’d player is in their premade; We’ll keep an eye on this restriction to see if it needs to extend to lower ranks
/Remake rolls out for testing in NA during patch 6.11 and a global launch shouldn’t be far behind.

Nice.
Ironically enough I haven't encountered too many (if any) afk players from the start. They mostly occur later after they've tilted and just quit.
Granted I'm sure the same people who vote not to forfeit while losing 45-5 will troll and vote to stay

That seems ridiculously abusable. I guess time will tell, though. Maybe requiring no kills before the afk fixes that, so there's no chance of someone tilting and prompting a remake. But I could see someone looking up stats on op.gg and just dipping at the start of the game if he doesn't like what he sees.

I wish a few of my teammates would have done this last night.

The person/persons that afk still lose full lp. There would be no point to afking, you'don't still be losing lp, and get afk flagged.

I'm assuming they prioritized synergy with DL over everything else. If they paired up well, things will be fine.

During our three week bootcamp in Korea, a lot of talented candidates have participated in the tryouts for the support position on our starting League of Legends roster. These tryouts have ended, and we would like to thank all the candidates for their time and efforts. Prior to the bootcamp, there were a good number of players from Asia lined up for tryouts. However, we still wanted to take a support from North America who could scrim with us during times when those players were unavailable. Thus, we held a preliminary tryout in North America where supports who had the right qualifications would duo queue with Doublelift and the rest of the team. It was during this period of time that Biofrost caught the eye of Doublelift and ultimately ended with us taking him to Korea. Over the last two weeks, we were extremely impressed by Biofrost’s performance, even in comparison to all the other candidates. He has made a lot of progress as a player during the short time we have known him, demonstrating to us that he’s a young player with the potential to the one of the best. He has excellent mechanics across multiple champions, and most importantly he synergizes quite well with Doublelift’s playstyle. To top it all off, he fits in with our goal of having a full English speaking roster. As such, we have signed Vincent ‘Biofrost’ Wang. We’re very excited to work with him for the rest of the year and help him grow as a player. Welcome to TSM! “I'm very excited that I will be joining TSM. Although I'm a rookie, I hope that with hard work and the support from both the community and my teammates I can become the support that TSM needs in order to compete at the highest level. Thanks to everyone that supported me throughout the tryout phase. I hope I can make you guys proud.” Vincent ‘Biofrost’ Wang "I'm very excited to welcome Vincent to our organization. I believe he was the best possible candidate for this position and given time, he will only become better." Andy 'Reginald' Dinh As a final note, we are still awaiting confirmation from Riot before Biofrost is officially confirmed to play on stage. We expect this confirmation to come soon.

ESPN and Riot in talks to broadcast LCS. Deal is reportedly ~$500 mln. I think this was logical end game of how Riot has ESPN-ified LCS coverage for a while now.
