NA and EU are kicking some arse.
Collectively, 8-0 for CLG, C9, Fnc, & Origen.
But just 1-4 with H2K & TSM.
Really, it's Origen and C9 that have impressed me the most.
Also, the only CN win is against the Group C wildcard.
Now, I understand that EDG, LGD, & IG are likely to get more wins going forward, but the region's performance so far hasn't been great.
But here's what I take from CN doing poorly....
Although they still have really great players and have good teamwork, coaching, and teamfighting, their communication is subpar and the recent meta shifts have opened the door to different champs and team comps. This means that they haven't had time to perfect their pick/ban and gameplay strategies to cover up their mistakes/weaknesses.
However, this isn't enough to cause them to go from Super Saiyan Koreans to getting shite on by the 3rd place teams from EU and NA.
I think the rest of the world has figured out that the Korean system of great analysts, coaches, and hard work was the main difference. That Koreans aren't genetically better than any other group. They just were set up to perform better through the organizations and hard work.
So.... we can see that the great NA ADC's and the great EU Mids are able to deal with their counterparts and even the matches.
TSM & H2K are one man shows. I have a hard time seeing either getting out of groups.
C9 & OG have used great ADC/Mid performances and either great shotcalling/team comps to surprise people. I can see these teams really competing for the 2nd spot in their groups.
FNC & CLG have used their superior talent and mechanics to win. These teams should easily get out of group stage as either a 1st or 2nd seed.

There's the AHQ most had advancing. Great win.
Fnatic looked pretty poor overall.

Febiven was 120 cs up very early.
Huni tilted hard. And tahm kench countered their whole engage comp.
That's why they went full retard on TK in the last fight that ended the game. They had to get him down to kill AN.

I'm surprised it took this long to see Tahm Kench. He's strong.

ive been watching on delay. Just saw the OG-tsm game.
Xpeke picked the slowest and most immobile champion in the game BLIND into tsm
TSM gave over the Lulu so they could pick Darius and Elise. Santorin forced a flash from xpeke and that's about it. Darius was a non-factor
Tristana getting caught by a Anivia Ice Ball, and then Flash E'd by peke, was the beginning of the end.
TSM had a solid comp but just looked awful. They had elise and alistar, the best jungle/sup tower dive combo in the game, and didn't even bother trying to dive. Terrible. They got wall'd by anivia once and just said ahh frick it she's ungankable

Pretty stoked about watching c9 and CLG tomorrow

Just finished watching fnc and ahq. Wow.
Yeah, TK is very strong. Jinx was safe as possible vs a sivir Olaf Oriana comp
The Darius priority needs to stop. Teams are using off meta picks (anivia, tk, renekton) to stop him

the only comp Darius has worked in is the poke comp. forces the other team to run into him.
gotta say im a little surprised how overlooked western teams seem to have been by analyst/fans even other eastern teams. they were respectable at last years worlds and this season have won an international event(TSM at IEM ) and Fnatic took SKT to 5 games at MSI. CLG has always seemingly been 1 more good player from relieving the huge pressure from doublelift and Pob fills that gap.

Honestly I think C9 has looked better than CLG against better competition. I don't know how the frick they did it, but they figured out this meta and are playing it perfectly.

Not a joke. I repeat. I am not joking.

Now I know why teams were banning TF against Bjergsen. He doesn't get to play it much and we're seeing why. He's a fricking god. He didn't play it much in NA. He must have been shitting on people with it in scrims.
