Amazon is already sold out of the Collector's Edition.
Best Buy is still showing them as available (pre-ordered mine for the PS4).
GameStop doesn't appear to be getting them since their website doesn't show it and the girl at GameStop just told me it's not in their systems for pre-order.

people are crazy for a pip boy. I'll pass tho. just a trinket to sit on a shelf, out of sight for when ladies come over. I'll stick to the digital deluxe edition

Here's my problem, guys - I am an original Fallout player - Fallout 1, Fallout 2 - multiple playthroughs. I prefer turn-based games. Similar to Fallout, I also played Jagged Alliance and the old school, XCom (and the new XCom is awesome, BTW).
On the other hand, I do play Elder Scrolls since Oblivion (so, Oblivion and Skyrim, but that's a lot, I think) - so why have I never gotten over that Fallout 3 is really just The Elder Scrolls: Fallout?
Is there anything I can do to enjoy Fallout 3 (which I own), and, potentially, Fallout 4? My son has given up trying to help.

So, if you get the XB1 version, you'll be able to use PC mods and you'll get a copy of FO3 for XB1 with your FO4 copy.
Guess I'll be getting a XB1 copy as well.

Fallout guy just said that the mod kit will also eventually cone out on the PS4 too.
Also this won't be at launch for xbox.
The PC kit will be out early 2016 and no timetable for xbox yet.

Well...I mean it really is just Elder Scrolls with guns. I don't think that's a bad thing, as I enjoy them just as much as I did when I played the original Fallout's waaayyyy back when.
I enjoy the world, the characters, and their stories. Being able to jump into that and go is just amazing to me, regardless of the way it's gameplay has changed. I thought New Vegas was more like the fallout games of old, with the new ES gameplay. I actually didn't really care for Fallout 3 that much.
If that sort of thing isn't your bag of tea, then it just isn't in the cards for you. You should try out Wasteland 2. It's an amazingly beautiful turnbased RPG like all the ones you've mentioned. Slosh has a really great Let's Play on it if you'd like to give it a shot. LINK It's also been on sale over at Steam a few times already.
**Also look into Divinity: Original Sin, Shadowrun Returns, and Pillars of Eternity
