I did see that complaint on at least one review. Same as you said, they put up some lore to explain aspects of the game, then fade out to the next bit WELL before you can finish the first screen.

A certain character from DA:O freezes my screen after dialogue. Everything is fine just prevents conversation advancement.

I didn't have that certain character but the guy he was replaced with gave me the same issue. I just smashed x whenever he talked and eventually it would move on.

I had this issue in one convo. Took a minute or 2 for it to let me advance.

The quest "In Your Heart Shall Burn" is one of the best cut scenes I think I have seen in a long time, the song was awesome.

Such a great scene, I've come across a few so far.

I just finished that quest. You're right. Great cut scenes, and the whole quest was great. I started it just before 12 and am just getting in bed.

Great game so far

So I'm about 7 hours in still cruising around Hinterlands.

When exactly should/do you leave the place?

Honestly, I liked everything until that happened in that quest. Side note: I hate it when the dwarfs sing in the Hobbit movies too, so I guess I just don't like singing bullshite.

Level 4-7 is good enough to move the main quest along via the mages or templars.

But once you have one of those groups in hand, I would suggest exploring alot before trying to close the breach in Haven.

Cool, thanks. All my folks are 6 right now I believe.

Feel like I still have so much left to do in the Hinterlands even after 7 hours. That's crazy.

I'm 80 hours in and there are still exclamation points for me in the Hinterlands. GTFO of there. There are lots of other places to explore.

At what level can you kill the damn rift by the waterfall in the Hinterlands? I have a damn bone to pick with that damn rift.

I believe that is a level 12 rift, so probably 10 if you don't want to employ cheap tactics

I'm so glad I'm not the only one having a problem with this one. I'm level 9 and still having trouble with it. All of the enemies are level 12 so I'm guessing around level 10 you can start to do some real damage.

Tried cheap tactics. Tried hitting it from the top of the waterfall but the monsters were able to pull themselves up to the top magically, or so it seemed.

Anyone else think this is Game of the Year?

I haven't been this sucked into a game since the first time I played Skyrim.
