I've been hitting Iron Banner hard the past few days. I'll get to level 3 tomorrow and get Etheric Light finally.

How is banner more fun than regular control, which is what it is?
And the buff gets bigger as the week goes on. You'll level up easily. You can get two characters to level 5 on Saturday-Monday.

The try hards don't even like iron banner in the first place.
The rewards are nice, but they're not related to how you play, necessarily.

I'm not a huge Iron Banner fan. The rewards have sucked really until recently. I like that they added Etheric Light though.

Playing the past two days I've been awarded MIDA Multi Tool and several other legendary weapons in IB.

This is why I play IB in addition to the MG this month. The MG is one of the best for pvp available.
2-4 etheric light, the MG and maybe a piece of armor or two?
I call that a good haul for having fun. Trials is a chore for me where I find IB and control very fun.

Is my ranking for fun. Something about Iron Banner is always laggy for me. But I love all 9 of these types, so I am splitting hairs here.
I have never tried Inferno but it sounds awful with the shotguns in this game.
Also have never tried Mayhem but I doubt I would like it.

It isn't the game type, game type is fun.

I don't even pretend to try anything else. Only been flawless one time and I was carried. When I play with my normal group we get effed in the aye.
In IB we win at about a 75% clip when 3-6 of us team up.

I played with some randoms this weekend in ToO. I'm not good but holy balls some of the teams we faced were incredible. Best we did was 5-3

Still haven't played trials. But I did level up iron banner enough this weekend to get some gauntlets and an etheric light
