Very limited library as of now but will be interesting to watch. Knowing nvidia it will be the most expensive console ever before it's over.

Notable games mentioned during the event include ports of Doom 3, Crysis 3, Portal, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Half-Life 2: Episode 1, The Talos Principle, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, The Witcher 3, Dead Rising 2, Metro Last Light Redux, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Batman: AO and Ultra Street Fighter 4.
A lot of older games there.

I'm assuming you can stream games from your other PC if you have a nvidia card. Steam may have something like that too, I don't remember.

Unless they have Steam like deals I would still build a PC.

Don't see how this will be successful.

I don't either. Of all these new devices coming out the alienware setup seems to be the most appealing.

Why can't they just stick with what they originally do and keep it at that

Diversification. If Nintendo did that we wouldn't have had an NES.

Its basically and android console

Hard to figure out who the target market is for this, other than low-income folks who will probably just stick with a used PS3/360 for a larger library. Maybe for big-screen couch gaming for Nvidia gpu owners. I don't see any other discriminators here.

And Alienware has the Walmart connection.
