I guess the other Switch thread got ugly and was deleted because there was a search but no find.
They're all indie games, but Switch announced 17 games coming to the Switch in 2017
LINK
Definitely a few interesting ones in there

The fact that you can't preorder a switch right now is beyond idiotic.

I kind of get it from Nintendo's POV after they bombed it so hard with the Wii U, but the mistake they made now is that people like me who would have bought a switch day 1 for Zelda are now choosing to just buy Zelda for the U and now I may not buy a switch at all, pending new releases. There's nothing announced yet that would make me consider buying it. Zelda was the big one for me.
I would have done it too if they hadn't sold out so fast.

IMO the only reason to buy BOTW on WiiU is if you absolutely aren't going to get a Switch or if you are a collector b/c the WiiU version will probably end up being fairly rare.
Otherwise why can't you just wait until you can pick up a Switch to play it? It's going to be the better version and you'll be able to take it with you on the road much easier.

Playing Yooka Laylee on ps4 because of trophies. Nintendo needs to get some kind of achievement system.

While the latter is probably true, it's because I can't fricking wait until Christmas with the entire internet spoiling how great it is.

I really doubt you'll have to wait for Christmas. If you check your area stores often enough you'll probably be able to happen upon one within the first month or so. The shortage stuff is really overblown IMO. I've always been able to find Nintendo products that are supposedly impossible to get simply by looking at more than one store and not giving up right away. You know, like how things used to be before everyone got spoiled by next day Amazon delivery?

They will be available 2 weeks to a month after.

The one thing I asked my wife for Christmas was a NES Classic Edition. She still can't find one, and I told her not to worry anymore. The sad thing is I know of four other people who had the same experience. Nintendo's inability to manage inventory is going to cost them in the longrun.

The switch isn't going to be like the nes classic.

Took me like 4 months to get a Wii, and they were churning those things out.

I remember how it was when the Wii came out. I only got my hands on one months after release because I got to be friends with the UPS driver at the place I worked. He was the one that would bring them to Walmart so I paid him market price to give me one next time he had a batch of 10 or so.
I don't have the time or the drive to pull that off these days.

This thing won't sell like the Wii. No way in hell.

Yup. I found out they had them at target when I was at work and I took lunch and sped over there. I ended up with one of the last ones. It was hard as frick to get that console.
The inability to pre-order is fricking asinine. I want my goddamn switch and I want to play Zelda on it.

Console Gameboy hybrid that can be played on your TV, on your couch, or in your car?
It's going to sell like crazy.

Really, a console you can take anywhere and configure however you want? Graphics aren't even in the debate with how much the Switch can do. It is really as if they just played a royal flush and said to Sony/Microsoft "try to top this, bitch."
Anyone who travels frequently for a living is salivating over this thing. It is most practical console ever made. It's going to kill it. I bet it outsells the Wii if the line up is good enough.

Because I'm a super hardcore Zelda fanboy and I want to play it ASAP
