NCAA football game in the works (not EA or 2K)

An indie company named IMV Gaming is making a new college football game. At first it seemed too good to be true. Then more and more people started getting on board. Here's an article posted today about it. Follow them @imvgaming on Twitter for more info. LINK /

Exciting to potentially have college football back in the video game realm.

Yeah it's to be expected. They said it may be released by 2019 and I saw people complain about that today. I'm like, AT LEAST THERES A CHANCE OF ONE

They will have a kickstarter going up in 82 days. They should have more than enough money to create everything they want within the week.

They already said they won't use player likeness or names. They will try to get the license to use school names and former players tho.

I'd love for a poll of college football players on how they feel about their "likeness" being used in NCAA. I feel the majority of them are stoked to have someone that somewhat looks like them in a video game

They should try to make this game into a community, like Football Manager.
When game company cannot get a license for league and teams, the community creates it, free to all.
There is no doubt, people would create real teams, leagues, jerseys, and players for all to update to game for free.

All players will be generic. I think they're pretty much depending on the community to continue making the rosters. That's really all we can do.

Hmmmm...what will people complain about since they are the ones creating it?
In all seriousness, so long as they get the license(s) to use the school names, uniforms, etc... the gaming community can work the rosters.

They don't need to get a license for anything but colleges and stadiums IMO. Do that, and then find a way to allow us the ability customize everything down to the fabric type on jerseys/pants and let us upload logos so that we can create the real teams as fast as possible.

Just let the community do their dealio.
Community can literally build this game from their structure. Stadiums, logos, players, fields, jerseys, etc All built by community.
Hell, Bethesda games are pretty much average, but the Community makes their games. They improve them 10000x better.

What you just described is a very ambitious game much less on console.
