Precision up on posts and square ins and I've never had any problems getting the ball over the LBs head.

I skipped 2010. I'm talking 2009, and I literally was picked off by a qb spy throwing a 20 yard square in when the CB fell.

Word. 2009 was definitely worse in that department.

A 20 yard square in? Or a 20 yard post? I don't think i've ever seen a 20 yard square in, nor would my QB have the time for that route to develop, lol.

On last years there wasn't even a squib kick at all, so what's worse? This game is the best in a while, dumb arse

I thought it was just me! The MLB picks off the WORLD on routes over the middle in 2009. It's ridiculous. It's like he's standing on a ladder.

I've never had so much frustration trying to throw the deep ball.

But you know what does work in 2009? The freakin' OPTION. Load options are unstoppable. TD every two or three times I run it.

One thing i never understood with the series lately is WHY DONT THE WRs JUMP FOR THE frickING BALL. They all try to catch it in stride so you have no chance to catch it while the DB jumps up and swats it

Can the WRs face up to the ball while it's in the air by using L2 (I think)?

I played the demo a few times and I am think this game is Next Gen...can't wait to see the full game with all of the bugs ironed out.

Nope. I tried on the demo a couple of times on hailmarys and they cant strafe. You have to run back towards the ball for them to jump.

The only thing I didn't like about the demo is that the game seemed zoomed out. The players looked smaller. Other than that it looks like it will be a fun game.

I had a guy turn around on an underthrown route and I think he turned round when I pressed triangle to jump for the ball.

Maybe I did it all with the directional stick and didn't realize it.

Yea its just when you are throwing it down field your WR will just keep running to catch it while the DB will jump

Some things I like about this year's version:

Defense actually gets down the field realistically on the kick off

New tackling animations are nice

QB needs to plant to make a decent throw

Defense reacts quicker to a QB scramble

Enhanced o-line blocking is nice

Recruiting seems like it will be much more realistic (from what I've read)

Emphasis on acceleration is nice (but it does seem like some players start off way to slow)

Any examples you can share? I usually can't read video game sites from work and this is my favorite part of NCAA. I've noticed many of your other points and agree, especially the QB throwing wild when on the run.

Check out the blog on the EA website (on NCAA 11 page).

It looks pretty detailed. Also, you will be able to assign a difficulty level to recruiting just by itself (Varsity, All-American, Heisman). They also updated the CPU's recruiting AI. Should be much harder to recruit against the computer.

Love this new feature.

It also seems that INTs are easier...the passes that should be picked are picked rather than the DB muffing the catch. This seems more realistic to me.

Cool - thanks!

I like the difficulty for recruiting alone. Hopefully I can adjust that as I go. Wouldn't mind speeding up the rebuilding process for the 1* schools and jack up the difficulty as they get better.
