Rules and Regulations a
Start off as a HC with no team over 3 Stars.
-Minimum Coach Contract is 2 years(stay with team you begin with before taking another job)

Choosing Teams:
The draft will begin tomorrow night June 27 at 6 pm. cst. You will have 30 minutes to select your team. If the time clock expires when it's your turn to select, you will lose your turn and the team next in line will be on the clock. Your 30 minute window begins when the preceeding user has made his selection. We will use the thread time stamps to determine clock statuses.

We will continue this rotation until everyone has selected a team.

Since there hasn't been much activity on the board right now, I'm not starting the draft right away. I want to allow a little time for people to check the thread. So, try to get the word out that we are selecting teams tomorrow night.

I'm at work and there are some site I cannot access here so would some please post the list of eligible teams (2* or below) so that everyone can see them.

Gameplay Settings:
- Heisman difficulty (Adjusted Sliders), 6 minute quarters.
- Updated Rosters
- Advance every 2 days at 11:00pm CDT(Sundays and Wends. Preferably)
- No restarts unless your connection fails.
- No cheerser(Go for it on 4th every time, no huddle, Run with your QB every play, nano blitzes etc.)


Mixing up the Playcalling: Varying your playcalling on both offense and defense is a requirement.
On defense, be sure to mix up coverages, bltizes, etc.

Subsitutions: You can't sub a:

-HB/WR/ATH for a QB unless running wildcat

Otherwise feel free to use Formation subs

Restarts: Each team is allowed only 1 restart for the entire season. Problems do happen sometimes so don't use your restart if you are losing a game. Anything more than 1 restart per season will result in the game results being thrown out and simmed.

OFFENSE:

You can go for it on 4th Down:

-Whenever you are past the 50 yard line with 1 yard or less to go, you are permitted to for it on 4th down.
-If you are behind by two touchdowns or more in the second half, you can go for it whenever you like.
-If you are the losing team in the 4th quarter, you can go for it whenever you like.

Hurry Up Offense: All teams are allowed to run the "hurry up" offense in both two minute drill situations. Any team losing in the 4th quarter is permitted to hurry up as often as they like. When using the hurry up offense, please allow your opponent to set their defense before snapping the ball.
-The above rule do not apply to teams who use the No Huddle as their offense philosophy

Playclock: Choose your plays as quickly as possible on offense and make every effort to do so before the play clock gets close to running out.

Running Up the Score: There is a scoring cap of 70 points in a blowout. If you exceed this, you get one warning and then the next time your game results will be thrown out and the game will be simmed.
-If ahead by 21 points or more in the 4th quarter, you must bench your starting offense.
-If ahead by 40 or more in the 1st half, you must bench your starting offense.

DEFENSE:

Moving Players: On defense, shifting linebackers and the defensive line is permitted. However, if you move a individual defensive player manually before the snap you must control that player at the snap of the ball. Exception: Lining up players to correct positions so they are covering the correct person/area.

Blitzing: While blitzing is certainly a part of the game, please be realistic when doing so, and do not use it excessively. Any attempt to confuse the AI when blitzing is prohibited. This also falls under the rules for mixing up playcalling.

SPECIAL TEAMS:

Fake Punts and FGs: Any fake punt or field goal must follow the same rule used when going for it on fourth down. If you are allowed to go for it on 4th down in that situation, you can also fake the punt or field goal. Faking a FG or punt is part of the game and provides "the element of surprise," but please be realistic. These are utilized in NCAA but on a limited basis, so please keep that in mind.

Onside Kicks: Onside kicks are permitted at any time by the losing team in the 4th quarter only.

Dynasty Rules(Restating)
Only 1 Restart used against CPU (game will be thrown out if more than 1 )
No Cheesing (against users)
Be Considerate (don't purposely run up the score)(against users)
Recruit and play games ASAP
And most importantly... have FUN!!

Coaching Contracts: On

FIRM ADVANCE ON SUNDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS
-Try to be every two days, but possibly may stick to Sundays and Wednesdays.
If two consecutive advances are missed, you will be put on auto-pilot.
