NCAA/Madden is the reason I developed my grace period

After Madden 2011, I wait 1 month after any EA release before deciding to buy.

I dodged the NCAA 13 bullet thanks to that.

Yea. I'm not a release day buyer anymore for any EA Sports product except FIFA, but that's because FIFA is by far the best game they currently produce.

I agree with an earlier poster....Neutral site games should have been part of this series years ago. Very happy they have added it for 2014. Here are some other things I would like to see fixed or changed:

- Run blocking on outside runs. 2013 is abysmal. FB and pulling O-Lineman never block the LB shooting the gap. Its frustrating

- Maybe my biggest gripe is the lack of a full instant replay. When reviewing a play, I hate you cant see the beginning on long TD's or returns. PLEASE FIX EA!!!

- Caught balls when the ball is halfway down in the grass. If its that far down, it should be incomplete.

- Get rid of "playing style" in recruiting. Im in year 7 and Ive only found 1 recruit who actually liked that pitch.

- Speaking of recruiting. I think the "athletes" are always ranked a little too high. I like them, but its a little wierd to see when 1/3 of the top 100 recruits are athletes.

- Computer never misses a FG. Maybe once since Ive been playing 2013. EA ...its ok for the AI to miss a kick every once in a while lol

Yeah, they ignored blitzers, it was so blatantly obvious HOPEFULLY EA fixed this. Being able to identify blitzers would be a good solution to this.

That's been happening for many years, I doubt EA will do any re-programming to fix it.

My gripe is with psychic CPU playcalling.

1st and 10, 2 WR, 1 FB, 1 RB set.

I call a PA pass, and what do they call?
A freaking cover 3. Come on.

One thing I loved about NCAA 12 was that 8 times out of 10 the CPU defense would go 2 Man Under on 3rd down so HB Slip Screens were lethal. My 3rd down conversion rate was amazing.

The recruiting needs to be fixed, I hate how it takes 10 year basically to go through one week, play style is pointless. Recruit rankings are never realistic, oh sweet top 25 are all ATH and WR? Awesome.

Sadly, this has been true for the last several releases.

I wish you could download recruiting classes. I always spend time making around 30 guys from the upcoming class when I start a new Dynasty, but I bet some people out there would spend time making the entire class.

This really fluctuated as the game went on. There was one year in the TD Dynasty where there were over 40 5*s and the next year it was less than 30 and like 10 of them were OL.

I always wish you could play with your dynasty team online. Like have a separate online room where you challenge other players and you use your dynasty teams. I have an A+ Miami team I would love to play with online.

This would be pretty great, but I can definitely see why it hasn't been implemented already (swapping rosters for a single multiplayer game would likely not be great for the netcode team, at least not for EA's laziness)

I would lve for them to bring bacl the Endsone celebrations. I always loved dunking the ball over the goal post.

The coaching Carousel needs to fixed of gotten rid of. It just insane and stupid for a coach to come off winning a national title or two to get offered jobs at terrible schools like UTEP. Go back to the old way when 3 top schools would offer at the end of the season.

I agree, but if I could do this I would never buy another NCAA game. They could sell expansion pack downloads that would have incoming freshman recruiting classes with no names. The same goes for madden too. I would buy an expansion pack with the latest players who decided to go in the draft and some senior UDFA.

I don't have '13 so not sure if this is in it or not. But if I am a head coach I should be able to pick my coordinators, not just have them randomly selected.

Meh. I edit a lot of my players in Dynasty, stat wise and size wise. I think they'd have to take out the edit feature to implement using your Dynasty team online. Though they could just let you not use your team if you edited a player's stats.

For the first time, the gaming franchise will use what is called an “infinity engine” in order to simulate tackles, hits and blocks in the most realistic manner possible. The new system was first utilized in the most recent version of the Madden NFL video game to great success.

This. And the prestige of the coordinator will affect performance of that side of the ball. Also give them recruiting grades so that if they are really good recruiters they can land some high value recruits.
