NCAA 13 freezing in dynasty mode

anyone else have this problem? i cant figure out if its my xbox or the game. Anyone know of a way to fix this?

Damn it seems like 13 is having a ton of problems. Mines being shipped to me on Friday and now with all the shite I've heard about it I'm kind of not looking forward to it as much. Hopefully patches come out soon.

Mine keeps freezing too. And I'm on ps3. It's def. the game. I'm wondering how it's even legal for them to sell broken merchandise. This is pitiful

And there is a shite load of Glitches and stupid shite in the gameplay as well... They screwed this one up BAD, now i'm glad I bought the ea season ticket, because I saw how bad it was before I spent$65

Go to system settings and turn auto save off. That's what I do and I haven't had the game freeze up yet. May not be the source to the problem but its worth a shot. I know the auto save feature does lock it up sometimes but if its freezing during gameplay then I have no idea. I really like the NCAA series but I'm skeptical about this one so far. Still getting used to it.

Haven't had any freezing problems, but I was in practice mode and went back to the main menu and it kept saying loading for 5 minutes so I turned it off.

bumping an old thread but I'm having freezing issues as well, I bought it on monday I've been able to play through 2 games and it has frozen up on 4 or 5 games. I have always been a huge NCAA fan I just hate how this doesn't work. I didn't play NCAA 12 but played 11 for 2 years and never had freezing issue, even though my system got the red rings of death. Reading up online and it seems like many people are having these issues.

remove a recruit from your recruiting board, then try to load your dynasty game

its during the game it may be the custom playbook I'm using playing it without it, I'm in the 3rd qrt of a cupcake school mainly just to test it
I may have to turn off stadium sounds as well
btw so far I have gotten through the first half in every single game.
It froze during a studio update I think
at the end of the 3rd qrt
and at the end when they were doing the picture highlights, that game I skipped practically everything, that was outside the general game play even simmed through the end of the 3rd

update not using the custom playbook seems to have fixed the issue. Just one game but I have high hopes
