So I don't know what was up with my game/ps4 last night but having to repeat those games was annoying as hell. That said, I got it done. Had to beat the west and all nba teams twice.

I picked Francis and opened Bosh from the team pack. Now my lineup is something like this...

Francis/Steph
QRich/Klay
Horry/KD
Lebron/Bosh
KAT/Sullinger

Played my first Historic Dom game and beat the 03 Mavs by 30. I'm sure it will get much tougher. After playing the game I was kinda over the grind so I decided to play around with rebranding my team. So the Cincy Hirambes have become the Kentucky Fried Chickens.

Just bought the game. I probably won't do much Myteam but will have a league and play ranked competitively.

Some teams so far that have given me trouble:

'98 Jazz - Hornacek and Stockton warp past defenders, stepback and drain 3s like nothing. Malone literally missed one shot no matter who I threw at him.

'01 Lakers - Pink Diamond Shaq is unguardable. Double? He kicks to someone for an easy dunk faster than you can possibly react. Diamond Kobe was neutralized when I put Marion or Klay on him, but he still scored like a mad man.

The Rockets team with just Hakeem no Drexler (forgot the year). I had to lose 2 times before they did not start the game shooting over 80% (not kidding - one game they shot 87% in first half and were beating me by 14 ) in the first half while I was missing point blank layups /dunks and wide open 3pt shots with Steph, Klay, Marion & Ricky Pierce. Hakeem was hitting 18 foot fallaway jumpers with ruby Charles Oakley (90+ shot contest and gold defensive stopper & gold rim protector badges) in hit face.

The next game I beat them by 26 and had 1200+ MT at the end. Defies explanation.

The biggest key to beating teams with these superman players is to keep it tight while they are in the game and open up a lead when they sit.

When there is a big man who is giving you fits, work the ball inside, pump fake and then go up, you get fouled more often than not and you can get them into foul trouble early while working on those 10 free throws you need.

Haven't played an actual game in awhile. Just been working the auction house to get snipes to add to my collector level. You can make some serious bank off of bronze cards if you know what you're doing.

I had a very similar experience with Shaq's Magic. I had been beating everyone by 15+ point, but I lost to them twice. Both times I was up BIG at half time. 3rd quarter would come and they'd outscore me 40-15 in the 2nd half.

Then magically the 3rd game. I held on to my lead and beat them by 20. I think sometimes the game just makes shite happen. LOL.

Either way, a quick team update.

Francis/Curry
QRichardson/Klay
Horry/Sprewell/KD
Kevin Willis/LeBron
Antonio Davis/Boogie

I didn't play any historic dom last night. Figured I'd go finish the challenges and get Pack even though I won't play him over Francis/Curry.

That team is ridiculous. I like it.

I beat the 07 Cavs last night after 2 tries. Lebron sat for exactly 1 minute the whole game.

my team:

Steph (Sapph) / Wall (Em)
Klay (em) / Ricky Pierce (ruby)
Marion (amethyst) / Lebron (sapph)
Charles Oakley (Ruby) / Anthony Davis (Em)
James Edwards (sapph) / Boogie (Em)

Damn I want that card!

Just thought I share this move I came across on YouTube. Start at 6:02. Steph has that behind the back animation and if it's late in the shot clock and you need to get off a shot or get to the rim, this move really does work nearly every time.

He is definitely helpful on any big that can score and he is a rebounding machine. Mid range game is solid too. Great at free throws.

Pairing him with James Edwards (tall shot blocker and post scoring monster) has made life easier for sure.

I've got to get that diamond Shaq. Seen a few gameplay vids of him and he is absolutely ridiculous.

Just got to level 6 on blacktop. Cannot wait to beat this mode because it is cheesy as hell.

I want that card probably more than anything! I haven't even started the Blacktop mode yet. I've just been slowly knocking out Historic Domination.

It is horrible, but probably the easiest way to get cards at the moment. I am 4-3 after 7 games and I don't want to play, but I throw in 1-2 games a session lately just to slog through it. You can get another amethyst I believe.

Me too. I am on the '13 Heat now.

If you have bigs that can score / get to the basket, get the Grizzlies playbook. They run good cuts to the basket and post up low automatically. Since I switched to it, I haven't had any problems scoring.

Blacktop gives you another pick at the diamond reward cards from historic dom when you get to level 10. There's a PD Isiah Thomas, Diamond Kevin Mchale, Amethyst Amare, few Ruby cards, and the team USA sapphire cards that you can get from the deck.

You'll most likely just get a bunch of technical foul cards like me though...

If any of you are grinding MyTeam Online, you get a PD Tim Duncan after 3rd prestige. Teams are pretty stacked now so I'd recommend investing in a few of those collections for diamond players to compete.

I am currently 12 teams away from completing historic domination and plan on getting Ben Wallace. By then I should have about 50-60k MT saved up.

I have over 600 cards and only use like 15 of them so I think I am going to cash in my collection on the AH and work on getting diamonds like you said.

Just wanted to share this score from Historic Domination.

After this game I played the 01 Lakers and had to intentionally let them take me to overtime so I could have enough MT (790). The game before, pictured above, I literally earned double that amount.

Bit the bullet and bought some VC to get a few boxes. My team is on a roll now.

Rookie Penny/Curry
Ruby Rip/ Klay
Amy Stackhouse/Emerald KD/ Ruby Dennis Rodman
Moments Ruby Davis (GOAT) / Ruby Antoine Walker
James Edwards/Bob Lanier

Sapp. Peja and Diamond David Thompson for situational subs.

That moments AD card is ridiculous.

Rookie Penny is my Curry stopper. 6'7" with good defense/lateral quickness. He has good post control too, so you can just iso against smaller points around the high post and just destroy them

I'm going for this card when I get home from work. I opened a few packs last night and opened a Moments Boogie Cousins card. Sold him for around 30K. Now I have around 80,000 MT. So I can buy Moments AD and not deplete my MT stash

I also pulled a Rookie Penny, but I haven't put him in lineup yet. Right now I run Amethyst Steve Francis and Curry.

Curry is too important to my team to sit and I'm am reluctant to replace a 92 overall Francis card with a 83 overall Penny card (as much as I love Penny).

I win most of my games late in the 1st quarter/2nd quarter. The other team's diamond starters are resting and I'm bringing in Curry/Klay who I can go nuts with.
