Completed a few collection sets last night (Pels and Bucks). Got a Sapphire Peja and a Sapphire Bob Lanier. Didn't realize the Thunder set has a Ruby player so I think I'm going to work on that next.
Just got to Hakeem's Rockets in historic domination. Been blasting most teams, so I should get through this fairly soon. Ready for one of those diamond players to get added to the roster.

Spend 30k MT, get 1 sapphire card? and you can't resell the cards later? No thanks. I just try and snipe cards on the AH, flip them for a profit (bought Anthony Davis for 6.5k and resold for 9.5 for example) and buy the certain cards I want.
That being said I am starting the East all stars tonight in regular domination. Excited for my reward card.

If you have either Steph or Klay, do yourself a favor and buy the other.
The dynamic duo bonus for these guys is insane. Klay basically becomes a sapphire player and Steph goes to ruby levels.
Also DMC and John Wall become outstanding as well. I did both and ran through the West all stars like they were nothing. Even worth it to put DMC coming off the bench to be sure he plays with Wall most of the time.

It makes DMC not such a liability in the low post on defense and makes Wall even more of a scoring threat.
KAT is a monster in the pick / pop game. Against the crazy defenses you see once you hit the all star teams, the pick / pop seems to be a great way to get some easy points. I gave KAT and Draymond the pick / pop badges and AD / DMC already have great mid rang games.
I think when I add Marion from beating the last Dom team tonight my lineup will be good enough to get through Historic domination without much trouble.

Also, what kind of strategy do you use on offense? I know I could be so much better if I had a base offense to settle into when I really need a bucket.
I've been using Pace but I'm just curious. I don't get many open 3s for my wing players mainly because I don't penetrate all that much. I'm not that great at breaking the defender down off the dribble.

I play 2-3 games a day in mycareer with my OVR 76 glass cleaner and use the app for daily VC. I buy packs with VC. I can get a pack every 2 days that way.
I did break down twice and bought enough VC for 2 boxes of 10 league packs, but other than that I just buy packs with VC when I can. I save MT for sniping cards. Just last night I bought a Steph for 9.8k MT and flipped him for 13. After every game I play I hit the AH and look for snipes. I haven't bothered doing collections or anything like that, just building my team with packs and MT. I got the Shawn Marion Amethyst card and began running the historic domination.

FAST.BREAK. Anytime you can.
But when you are forced into half court offense...
Play as fast as possible and always look for cutters to the basket. The AI gets caught leaving people open for easy jams quite a bit. I generally sprint up court and call for a pick. All of my bigs can hit mid range and finish at the bucket well so I do a lot of pick / pop & pick / roll.
Shaking defenders with dribble moves costs precious time in domination, so I look to get a pick or move the ball around the perimeter waiting for the defense to make a mistake. Lots of drive/kick out work can cause the defense to get out of position for a 3 or the help coming over to you leaves someone open for an easy flush.
Just beat the 98 Spurs last night in historical domination and they gave me fits. Their defense is pretty stupid with Amethyst David Robinson and Ruby Tim Duncan guarding the paint.

That's pretty much what I've been doing. My biggest contributors are Jay Williams, KAT (beast btw), and Horry. The pick and roll is nice and when it isn't there I kick out to Horry=buckets.
I have Atlanta up next in Dom. Been averageing 750-900 MT per game so hopefully I wont have to grind tooo hard to finish and get that Amethyst card.
Speaking of...you took Marion right? Happy with that decision? I'm looking really hard at Steve Francis when that time comes.

Marion is an absolute monster on the defensive end. I immediately put a gold defensive stopper badge on him and I assign him to the biggest offensive threat on the opposing team's perimeter. His usefulness on the fast break is crucial as his speed with & without the ball and ability to finish around the rim is great. When he is open for a three, it drains.
Based on my lineup, I did not need the offense of Stevie Franchise or Jerry Stackhouse as much so I went with Marion. Him and Lebron are my best perimeter defenders and I always have one of them on the court. If you lack in offense anywhere, Marion is not the best choice. My lineup is good to go on offense so I went Marion.

I only play these 10 guys, the others are just bronze guys with minutes set to 0. I do a 60/40 ish split on minutes from starter / bench. Reasoning behind DMC coming off the bench is to pair with Wall. Reasoning behind Wall even being on the team is to pair with DMC (I have westbrook and jay Williams just sitting there but it is worth it). The Steph / Klay combo is also ridiculous. See my post above.
Did not play last night, so I am still only 4 teams into historical domination.

Beat the 03 T'Wolves (KG, Wally, Cassell, etc) and the Rockets team with Yao Ming, Steve Francis, etc last night. Lots of fun.
I also went through every franchise collection reward and found that only the Thunder have a Ruby reward and it is Ricky Pierce. Since I already had Westbrook and the other higher guys and two of the bronze guys, I decided to just finish it.
Ricky is an offensive monster, Overall 88. All his shooting stats are super high and his athleticism is way above average. Layup stats all 90 or better, which is great for generating free throws around the rim. Defense is average but he makes up for it with offense. I put him coming off the bench behind Marion and moved Lebron to PF and Draymond is now just in the collection.
Line up now:
Steph Curry (Sapph) / John Wall (Emerald)
Klay Thompson (Emerald) / Quentin Richardson (Sapph)
Shawn Marion (Amethyst) / Ricky Pierce (Ruby)

As of now, I am still trying to grind out games in Ante-Up to attempt to win the Jackpot. The jackpot is up to 8 MILLION VC. Do you realize how many packs, badges, etc. I could purchase with 8 MILLION VC!?! That shite would be NUTS. I want to get into MyTeam but I am too busy leveling my MyPlayer up for Pro-Am and MyPark. Nice. I am working my way up. I played four games last night and beat the Clips, Spurs, and Warriors (played them twice.)
The first time I played the Warriors I was down by 25
when I decided to change it up on defense 
I started playing physical D on Steph and switching everything. Also put on a full court press and actually only lost by 5.
The next game I used the same strategy and blew them out by 20+.
I still have the East Allstars, West Allstars, and I guess Team USA?

No - It is the All-NBA team. Not easy when Kawhi Leonard, Westbrook, Jimmy Butler and guys like that are coming off the bench. I did it in 1 try, but barely.
I beat the Shaq era Magic, Shaq era Heat, and the Vince Carter (Amethyst) Raptors last night. Shaq was Diamond level on the magic and Ruby on the Heat (D-Wade was diamond on that team however). I am not having too much trouble in historic so far. Averaging 800-900 MT per game and winning by double digits most times. 11 teams in so I assume it'll start getting much tougher. Just want that diamond Ben Wallace card.

Oooh Ok. Nervous about playing those All star teams but I guess you are guaranteed to get a pretty good player from the Team Pack.

Do yourself a favor and get him ASAP. Probably the most important person on my team. He might not score 20 a game but I usually nail at least one open 3 and a few mid range shots per game with him as well as 7-8 assists.

Any of you play Blacktop? I've been grinding it pretty hard lately. Think I'm at lvl 5 right now. I like it because you can try out random cards. Had a sick draft last night. Diamond David Thompson, Sapphire Chris Jackson, Pink Diamond Wilt Chamberlain. Jackson is pretty nasty. Good handles and speed and he can shoot. Didn't even use Wilt outside of a few putback buckets and pnr plays.
Also played a guy that pulled a 99 pd Kobe. Unguardable.

. Magic is Unguardable and does not miss a pass. Kareem can snatch a lot of boards too. East All Stars with PD Bird, Jordan, Garnett, and Ewing. Forgot who started at point. Might have been Isaiah. Helps if you lock up Bird, he was the go to man when I played. Jordan will hit some pretty. ridiculous fadeaways on you.
Imo, once you beat the East All Stars the last two teams are pretty easy to deal with. Not sure if it's guaranteed but I pulled a ruby player from one of the all star packs. Last pack definitely gave me an emerald player, of course.

So mad right now! Just beat West Allstars by 8. The minimum requirement to pass was 820 and I scored 910. It even did the post game deal where it shows the packs you earned.
When I get out to the menu, it's says I haven't beaten them yet! Ahhhh. Anyone have this happen?

I had it happen early in normal domination. I think it was the Nuggets maybe. Beat them by 18-20 and scored over 1k MT... nothing.
