My first PC build

So I have always been a console only gamer. But I find both the xbox one and ps4 to be lackluster. So I decided to build a gaming pc. I didn't really ask for any advice so I'm not sure how I did but I come here to see what you guys think.
These are my specs
Case - Corsair 300R
CPU - Intel i7 4790 k
Cooler - Corsair H100i
GPU - MSI GTX 970 OC
RAM - Crucial Ballistix 16gb DDR3 1600
Motherboard - MSI ATX z97s SLI Krait Edition
Power Supply - corsair cx750m
How good or bad is my build?

No point in getting 16gb of ram and the 4790k just for gaming, but if money wasn't a big issue then no biggie. What kind of power supply did you get?

I probably would have gotten the 4690k and 8gb of ram then upgraded the 970 to a 980.
You would have gotten A LOT more out of that build.
Edit: And a reference 980 with the light mod would have looked sexy as hell with that mobo

Also I stream most of the time so I got more ram and the i7 for that reason.

You wont use more than 8gb while streaming. With Nvidia shadowplay, streaming is far less CPU intensive.

I will probably get another 970 soon and SLI them. Would that rival the 980?

Yes I did I didn't include the drive in my post I got the Samsung 840 250 gb and a WD black 1tb hd

SLI 970 would be better. What kind of monitor are you gaming on? That second 970 would probably only raise your e-peen if you're gaming at 60hz 1080p

The build looks good
2TB and 3TB aren't much more money these days. I filled up my first 1TB pretty fast and games are getting larger now with the current gen consoles.

I've become more selective with my game installs with my SSD raid array. I only download games I know I'll play. I'm still sitting with ~300gb open on the array

I like having options and if I sit down to play a game I don't want to have to wait a few hours for it to download.

That's also what made me more selective. It only takes games 15 minutes to download a game, so if I want to play something I can have it in no time
