Thanks, have the itch to play this during Spring Training/Opening Day every year.

Considering it is Sony Computer Entertainment that develops and publishes MLB the show. I really do not know what you are expecting.

You can go ahead and blame Sega/2K for when they bought the exclusive rights for MLB games. The MVP series would still be around, and that was one of the few games that EA did a great job on.

While it did kill MVP baseball, I think it helped bring about MLB the Show. Since only 2K and console manufacturer's could make MLB games.
MLB the Show is the greatest sports game ever.

I threw in the Show 15 and started playing an online franchise, with just myself, just to get into the swing of things. Got my Astros, and made a few trades for some of my favorite LSU players.
I am playing 14 game seasons, just to get through as many seasons as I can before the new game comes out. First season I went 7-7 and missed the playoffs.
Season 2 I went 11-3 and am currently starting my 7 game series against the Pirates in the World Series.
Nola, Gausman and Ranaudo are three studs for my now, with ratings climbing up into the high 80's now. Should have 3 true Aces by the next season.
I also have Nola, Bregman, Mahtook, Hill on my bench. None of them start, but all (except Hill) are improving. Bregman or Nola are set to take over second base from Lemahiue next season probably.
Corea is an absolute stud.
Can't wait for this game to come out.

why on earth cant xbox make some kind of deal and get MLB the show. major downfall of the system is that it has no baseball game.

MLB The Show is developed by a Sony owned studio, there is nothing stopping Microsoft from making there own baseball game for the XBox.

MLB the show is pretty much the reason I got a PS4. It is the best made sports gaming franchise ever. I play it more than any other game.
