It took me three tries while changing position twice to get a decent showing in showcase. I choose the option to let Red Sox know I wanted them and went 30 pick in 3rd round. Anyone have any tips on when to start batting swing with pure analog hitting?? Tia

Yea, I'm about to start over and make a 2nd baseman, idk if I can take the outfield. My dude looks like a baller though, I don't wanna do all the specs again.

Just got drafted in the 2nd round 10th to the Brewers. I'm just gonna create another guy I guess

Has anyone done one as a SP? I want to try one, but don't want a season to take a millennium either. I figure it would balance itself out by only playing every 5th day.

Really doesn't take that long. Especially if you put quick count on

Not this year but last year I did and it was not that bad, I threw 6-8 innings every 5th day and the season was a breeze

I just re-created basically the exact same guy. Just moved him to 2nd base. Didn't do well at all, but my team was terrible. I batted cleanup and only twice were people on base when I got up. Good thing they draft on potential...Just went 1st Round 18th overall to the Royals!! Fricken jacked!!! Love the Royals

I know on PS3 if you push and hold R3 while the ball is in the air it shows you where to run and where the ball will land.

How are you guys approaching the creation of your player? Are you molding yourself after a certain player or are you making your own guy?

I created my own guy. I tried to make him look like me and named him Jacob Owens (my son's first names lol). 3B 6'2 195lbs.

As I mentioned earlier, got drafted Seattle in the 4th round, went back to school for 3 years and was then taken 1st pick 2nd round by the Stros.

I'm now about a month into AA ball hitting .350 with 5 homers and 12 rbi's. I am ready to get called up to AAA and get off this terrible Corpus Christi AA club.

Got the call up to AAA today with my SS. He was taken 15th overall.

Created a SP this afternoon. Went mid first round, didn't like the team, college for 3 years. Performed like a boss in the Showcase, went #1 overall. Though it is to the Stros. It's fine. They'll trade me away when I badger them enough like they do all of their top prospects.

I'm a starting pitcher who went to Anaheim in the second round, currently with AA Arkansas Travellers. Gave up two runs in my first start, but had something like 7 Ks. I wish an NL team had picked me up.

Anyone try catcher yet? My first character was CF, but I suck at it and it's boring.

I'm a 3B. Did so so in showcase(was first time playing the show and started it instantly. Got drafted in the 3rd by the Red Sox. Since I am in Double A starting and through 15 games I am batting .364 AVG, .427 OBP, .621 SLG. Trending up with 3 HR and 13 RBI. Now time to slowly but surely move up lol. Middlebrooks is trending down and me up so you never know.

This is good idea for a topic. I played average in the Showcase and was drafted in the 2nd round by the Toronto Blue Jays. I am playing in AA New Hampshire and have hit - .750; .500; .750; 250; and 400 in my first 5 games. No homers but im focused more on fielding and contact as a SS. More importantly team is 5-1 lol.
