Never have touched a Mass Effect game but saw the trailer for this the other night, really intrigued.

SJW should be happy the protagonist is weird looking.

I would if I had the time, especially since they're remastered on the Xbone.

I know y'all will probably laugh me out of here but I played Mass Effect 3 on Wii U and it was fun.

Horizon
Red Dead 2 (kinda 3)
Those are basically the only games I am really looking forward to this year.

Looks like bioware is letting loose some "information" at 1 pm EST ahead of the event

Never played this series. I'll probably watch the YouTube video stories so I can catch up

I've never played any of the Mass Effect games before (yes I know). What would be the best purchase method to grab them all? The only thing holding me back is not being able to get the DLC without using Bioware points. I've heard they're important to the story and I wouldn't want to miss out on the full experience. Unless you all don't think they're necessary.

No idea. I played 1 & 2 on Xbox 360, Then played 2 again on PS3 and 3 on PS3 and just bought all the DLC as I went when it was current.
All I can tell you is you need to play these games. Even without the DLC you will hit all of the main points of the story and will not feel shorted IMO.

For everyone that has not played these games you are missing out. It's the best series I have ever played, the story, setting, and choices to be made (ignore the end of 3) are fantastic. Of course there are flaws but all games have them.

No doubt.
Shepard was best character in gaming to me.

I played 1 this year and didn't start 2 right away. Started 2 over the holidays, but didn't get very far. I won't finish by March 21st.

Don't feel like you have to. Andromeda is set in the same universe but it's going to be a completely different story.

I'm a huge Elder Scrolls fan but when I finally got around to playing ME 1-3 in 2015, I was blown away.
Played all 3 two times. Mainly because I sucked first time playing 2 and just about everyone died which made 3 less interesting since my pals from 2 were dead thus not in 3.
Don't listen to Scruffy. 3 is awesome. Especially now that you can get the best ending much easier. Still silly they put that online component in the game to get the best ending.
