Madden 16 Franchise stories

I used to start this thread about NCAA Dynasties and they were always interesting. The discussion usually comes up with people talking and giving some helpful advice too. So, share how your franchise (online or offline) is going if you wish.
For me, I am in week 2 with the Saints. Had a shoot out with the Cards in week 1, in which I won 48-42 in over time. I couldn't stop their passing game for nothing. Carson Palmer absolutely tore apart my secondary.
In week 2 I put it on the Bucs 42-20. Winston put up some passing yards on me, but had a bad completion percentage. I totally shut down Doug Martin.
Ingram went down with a broken collar bone early in my first game, so Spiller and Robinson have been carrying the load. For some reason Robinson is a beast. He hasn't gotten the bulk of the carries, but he has the ability to break some very nice runs.

I'm in year 3 with the Redskins.
Year 1 - I benched RGIII and essentially tanked the season but kept winning games with Colt McCoy and a pretty good defense.
Year 2 - I traded for Zach Mettenberger and got some young WR threats and a revamped OL and switched to a 4-3 defense. I got to the playoffs somehow.
Year 3 - The OL looks bad because of their age and the WR corps is really bad. I traded the aging DeSean Jackson for Devin Funchess to give a big WR threat to Mett. I drafted a stud RB who fell into the 3rd round who will take over for Alfred Morris when his contract is up.
I'll probably do a Saints franchise next because I'm getting bored with the Skinzzz.

How the hell did you play 3 seasons already? That's a lot of playing. Did you actually play all of those games?

In my first season with the Chiefs and Jamal Charles has around 1800 yards rushing at the end of the season. Won the division and have the playoffs coming up. I'm thinking about trading a few pick and Alex Smith to the Titans for Mariotta

I've been playing during all my free time. Non stop madden with no distractions. It's a problem.

With all the trades you make does that eat up your cap space with penalties?? I was considering some trades but I don't want to take the cap penalty.

I can't keep playing with same team for some reason. I've started like 6 franchise already. Idk why but that's my problem. I love Saints but never have enjoyed playing with the saints

My problem is that I'm a LSU Homer. I continue to really like LSU guys in the NFL regardless of where they play.
I just know that I will start off playing as the Saints and then end up starting over, or trying to trade for Peterson, Mathieu, mett, Landry, hill, Beckham, Mingo, etc. That doesn't exactly work with salary cap and cap penalties for trading guys though.

Lmao that's me too. I trade for players and then it loses authenticity and I quit then start with someone else and do it again

Kind of wish they'd bring back create a team. I use to love making an All-LSU or whatever school.
The last year they had it I did one for Miami. It kicked arse but I far exceeded the salary cap lol

I just put every LSU player on jags lol. Good team. Only like 2 or 3 positions and some back ups weren't LSU

I actually couldn't figure how to get rosters into my franchise. My Saints team still has Junior gallet and doesn't have d Breaux, which I was disappointed about. I downloaded a roster before too, but apparently I didn't do something correct.

I've never had a problem with the cap. I leave myself with tons of room and usually sign backup players and make them starters instead of trading getting major big time players in FA.

I'm coaching the Browns. Running the Eagles Offense and the 49ers defense.
Well I went in and saw the QB situation and thought well I'll suck this first year and get a QB early in the draft and bring him up. My offense absolutely sucked the first game. Luckily I was playing the Jets which kept me in the game. Well Manziel pulled a Manziel and hit Gordon on a corner route that ended up going for 60 yards after not being able to hit the broad side of the barn all game. Eventually run it in and win the game.
Next week I decide to sign Chris Johnson because I like speed backs and he only costs 800K. Then saw Tre Mason on the block so I traded a backup RT for him (part AU homer move and part I like playing with him in the Eagles offense). Rams went for it. Don't know why. Playing the Titans. Manziel gets blind sided and breaks his ribs. So Thad Lewis is my new QB

Long story short, the Browns are now at 4-0 and winning the division. I'm don't know whether I can actually work with this team or if it's just because I've played the Jets, Titans, Raiders.

You make a roster and save it then when you start franchise it asks what roster you want to use
