I might not give a shite about the game, but the trailer for this years Madden was just amazing. Kaep nailed the role of Al Pacino from Scent of a Woman

I played it a bit this weekend. I simmed through a full season to see what the new scouting system was like along with any other new stuff.

I like Scouting better than in the past. Still not what I'm looking for. I want to be able to hire a scouting staff with definite strengths and weaknesses that impact how players are scouted and how accurate the info is. I'm pretty sure this has been done in the past and with pre-created draft classes this shouldn't be too hard to implement. Currently all I have to do is spend a little time and I find out if it's a steal or bust. I am glad we finally get the Combine results automatically.

I started a Franchise with the Saints and like it so far. Gameplay feels good after just a couple of games. I'm curious to see how it feels after some more time. Passing is much improved from an options standpoint, but I haven't played enough to know how effective those options will be. With Brees it's hard to tell because of the accuracy.

I'll probably break all of the passing records and win the SuperBowl then scrap the franchise and start out with a loser to build up. Jacksonville and Cleveland are still the best options there!
