Long time rumored RE4:Remake DLC Ada wong separate ways; new trailer post 5

Didn’t wanna start another thread but found it odd no one had made one yet. Capcom just kind of shadow dropped the trailer 3 days ago announcing it comes in the 21st and that’ll be paid. No price given but all reports are 9.99
So will you pay 10$ for the RE4 remake dlc? I sure as hell will one of my favorite games this year

I got seperate ways for free on the ps2. Dumb you have to pay for it now.

Meh it makes sense. Insiders are saying a 5 hour experience. Games cost a lot lie to make than they did for the ps2 man. Capcom could easily charge 20$ for this. I’m staunchly against micro transactions but never again get quality expansion content that is priced reasonably and good content

I never played this back in the day so I’ll give it a whirl now. Interested to try out Wesker in the mercenaries mode as well. Hopefully they make him cartoonishly overpowered.

It will be nothing like it was on ps2 anyway. The ps2 version was barely 1.5 hours long absolutely maximum stretching it. It’s clear they’re rewriting the entire RE cannon to be less meme goofy into something actually taken seriously. If the 5 hour estimate is true I imagine we get 3 boss fights with U3 likely being the last since his absence from the originally game was blindingly obvious. It’s my opinion and the ending RE4make supports this, is this will serve a very very pivotal roll and function for introducing Ada as more of a character coming around to the good instead of just guided by money. All of this will be in service to eventually give resident evil 6 the most unlikely redemption ark in history

The Official Separate Ways launch trailer
This one is much different than what they showed a few days ago. Ada has a grapple hook, the laser room scene is back with her, we see the U3 monsters, you can use the grapple in combat I believe she pulls a shield guys shield away. She has new weapons. Her partner appears to Louis as Ashley was to Leon. Ends with a scene of Wesker confronting Ada at gun point. 3 days baby
Capcom is absolutely blazing hot. That is an insanely captivating trailer. Is anyone doing it better than them right now?

That 9.99 hasn’t been confirmed by capcom btw not even in that AMAZING trailer I just posted above. Just a date of the 21st. 9.99 is reports from insiders and stuff
Also lucky for you this DLC launches alongside the VR main campaign. I’ve seen nothing if separate ways will have VR support as well I’d imagine not at first

Nah, VR isn't coming till this Winter.

Btw if anyone cares yes it’s confirmed 9.99 and yes it’s been said by many many people at this point since it’s less than 24 hours away leaks can’t be stoop that a standard difficulty playing if this DLC will likely take a first run of about 3.5 hours there’s apparently A LOT of combat and depending on your classification of boss vs mini boss perhaps 4 bosses.
People have reported that fresh start runs without ng+ carryover or special challenge unlock weapons on hardcore and professional difficulties can reach up to 10-12 hours especially for the latter claiming they dlc while having more mechanics, more polish, etc is much much harder than the base game. Anyway use all this to make your informed purchase of if it’s worthy of 10$. I’ll be playing it asap on release probably and am pissed it can’t be bought and preloaded

Anyone else checking this out at midnight ET. Size is 12.5 GB supposedly and the whole RE4make is 61.15. Knowing it’s piggy backing off a bunch of what’s already in that 61 I think we will have a very substantial experience for 10$

It’s live. I’m downloading now. 12.4 GB 9.99$. Only 20 minute download with my mid internet. Can’t wait. If anyone wants to know if it’s good or not before purchase I’ll report back

I picked it up on Steam.. figured why not especially since I had $1.71 in my wallet that was sitting there for ages.
