Let's talk about your worst timed lag or game freeze?

The most recent is usually the worst but I can't help but I can't think of a worst one than yesterday for me, personally.
Zombies in spaceland:
My wife and I have a great setup going. Both have OSA and titan packapunched as our primary weapons. Both have one of electric trap and fireworks trap. Have 4 more FW/ET in the souvenir stations. Both have quickie, mule kick, tuff enough and up n atom. Her 3rd gun is a packapunched spartan 5:45 rounds. I have a freeze gun packed. Lastly we have plenty of tickets for gift shop ammo.
Just as the brute dies in round 20 the game freezes. Like, come. On.

How about attempting a game winning FG in Madden online and the lag makes you kick it into your own bench

Never played it. What's is the issue happening there.
Wasn't there a sports game 10 years or so ago that would delete your career character after a shitload of work put in? I'm thinking it was madden.

This x 10000000. shite is infuriating.
I missed an extra point last night vs a guy so I started overcompensating on ever kick... finished the game 3 for 6 on XPs and 0 for 1 on FGs...
Still won 39-21

Worst ever game frick up for me was while playing FF13. Got to the last boss after fighting my way through the shittiest characters and storyline in any game.
The game freezes and corrupts my save file. Immediately sold the game to gamestop. frick that game.

Overwatch, Competitive, in the only only platinum in a game of Diamonds. Tracer on Route 66. I go 16-0 with 4 golds in the first round and we push the payload all the way. 2nd round starts. We have them stalled before the first checkpoint with under a minute left, I still have 4 Golds and I'm having one of my best Tracer games ever - I knew what I was gonna do, they knew what I was gonna do, and it didn't matter. They had no answer. 34-2 I think. I go to grab my phone which I had left near the Xbox. As I'm grabbing it, the headset cable swings and brushes against the power button, turning my Xbox off. I try and turn it on but it won't let me rejoin. They ended up losing and 2 guys messaged me "Reported."
Didn't get the glory of the board or likely POTG. 10min suspension added to the humiliation. It's crazy bc as I saw the headset cord swing I was like "imagine if the Xbox button was sensitive enough to pick that up and turn itself off."

I spent like two hours messing around and upgrading my team's staff on Football Manager last night and out of nowhere Steam fricking crashes.
I just threw my computer to the side and went to bed.
I've sunk hundreds of hours into that game and I honestly have no desire to ever play again because I don't want to roll through a spreadsheet of who has a higher 'physiotheraphy' stat for my U23 side.
