Laptop for Steam Games

On the fence between getting a ps4 pro or a laptop for gaming but I’m leaning towards the laptop since I’m always on the road for work. Will I need a very powerful laptop to play any game on steam? Looking at the MSI Stealth with the GTX 1070 graphics card on eBay but open to any suggestions

Obviously it depends on what you want to play.
I use a Macbook Pro I've had for forever when I travel.
I've played some total war games, but now I mainly play Football Manager on it.

That'll be more than enough power

I abhor gaming craptops, but if you're travelling all the time, they're fine. However, I seriously recommend you buy a gaming craptop new, never used.

Nah, the value in used or refurb units is far better.
Especially since it's nearly impossible to frick anything inside a laptop

I'm not doubting them not working, it's cleanliness. I'd never buy a second hand keyboard or mouse.

Nothing a little compressed air can't fix for a keyboard
But the mouse I agree with

Should I be concerned as far as any viruses, etc?

You can always do a clean install yourself if you're worried

I got a ASUS ROG GM501. It's a fricking beast. Playing Witcher 3 on max settings and its glorious.
I travel for work so this is a desktop in laptop form.

Pretty sure that as long as the laptop can handle GTA V and CS:GO it can play somewhat most games on steam, right?

CS:GO takes just about nothing to run, so that's not a good game to base others off of
