Games worth getting at launch
Dead Rising 3 - quality fun
COD or BF4 - do not need both, get the one that makes you happy
Forza
Ryse
Killer Instinct - It is free, fun to play when you are stuck getting a 13GB update on DR3.

Those can hold you over until it gets good
Titanfall
Halo
Destiny
Watchdogs

GTA V will come in 2014 hopefully.

Add Project Spark to that list for me. Who knows if I'll like it when I actually play it, but it was one of my favorite games shown at E3.

Sucks that you don't have Titanfall/Halo to look forward to(if you're even into that type of game).
Why would you be excited for a 343 Halo game after Halo 4 was so terrible?

I'd say that it was by far the worst Halo game.

Correct, Halo 4 is a joke.

The PS4 is actually in a worse position.

I do think XBONE is doing fine, launch title wise, but at the same time I disagree with this. (I know crazy).

Directly after launch I would agree with you, but since PS4 have gotten quite a few downloadable titles through PSN and PS+.

I actually don't really think either has the lead as far as exclusive games go at the moment.

Halo 4 and Halo Reach are right about the same when it comes to being a joke.

Ever since they introduced the combat abilities powerups or whatever you want to call them..

That doesn't mean it is a terrible game though. I liked it more than Reach.

Halo 1, 2, & 3 are all on my all time favorites list. Just because Reach and 4 didn't live up to them doesn't mean they are terrible games. They haven't nearly fallen off like the last couple of COD games.

I do hope they get rid of the perks and stuff for 5 though.

That's not exactly a fanboy thing to say.

They both have decent launch titles...that's about it.

I think it's a pretty bad game. The multiplayer kept me entertained for about a week or two while Halo 2 and Halo 3 both kept me entertained for more than a year. Maybe 343 will do better with Halo 5, but I doubt it.

All they really have to do is remove perks and add in a leveling system like Halo 1-3.

I think it is really that simple.

Doubt they will tho.

I didn't realize people were so down on Reach and Halo 4, I liked both of them way more than I liked Halo 3.

4 wasn't as bad as people make it sound. It starter poorly but they made updates ( a bit late) and the game was really good. All they need to do is bring back the ranked playlist and a 1-50 rank. The games are fun but the competitiveness is what made me play for 4 years non stop.

reach was TERRIBLE until they fixed the bloom

The things ppl settle for.

I would be fckking pissed. I'm pissed for purchasing the PS4 at launch and looking at my 1 game, Shadowfall. It isn't going to get better anytime soon, not many great titles coming up in the next year.

Settle? I must not have as much free time as you guys, because I have three games that I have yet to beat. Three games at one time is more than enough to occupy my time. This has no bearing on how many games I want them to come out with going forward.

Yes it was. Until they drop their attempt to become CoD or BF4 with unlocking weapons, the game will suffer.

Also, the retarded idea of having weapons randomly drop on the map was dumb as well.

Halo MP was awesome in that everyone started on the same level. There were no skill upgrades, no weapon unlocks. Someone who had 2000 hours of the game played started a match at the same level as someone who just bought the game.

That is where the new Halo failed.
