Holy cow! The Japanese inspired games are 100% on portable these days, it's insane.

I will give it to Nintendo, they do kinda know what they are doing - the handheld market is where their customer (Japanese market wise) is. Having an HD Turn-Based JRPG in HD, only on the Switch, or an HD Fire Emblem alone will make this thing sell like hotcakes.

There are so many Japanese inspired games on the 3DS... and I would assume all of these contracts carry over to the Switch, as it is still a handheld system to a point. I have a lot more faith in this device, and with games like Fire Emblem, Bravely Default, and the new Zelda game... it would be really hard for Nintendo to disappoint me at this point.

Here's looking for an awesome event today

Yeah man. I got the 3ds solely because major publisher's aren't putting out JRPG's like the ones I want to play. There is a plethora out there for this console.

This is the only reason I ALMOST got a 3DS and if they can bridge that gap with the Switch, that's a HUGE win.

However, I can't justify carrying 4 devices around, so it needs some app support.

The 3DS has the best libriary of games over the last 5yrs. The Wii U, PS4 and XBONE don't touch it.

PC and 3DS are my 2 main gaming units. Really don't touch the others.
