The Tomb Raider games were much better as far as vanilla adventure games go.
Uncharted 4 had fantastic graphics, a great story and superb mechanics. It beats either Tomb Raider game to death. And I liked Tomb Raider.
I find it hard to understand how you love Lost of Us so much when the format is the exact same as Uncharted. Cut scence / stealth - fight / cutscene / stealth -fight

The play style in tLoU is similar to UC4, but you actually care about the characters and stories is good.

Discovery is much better in almost all of the Tomb Raider series.
Uncharted feels like a rail shooter to me.

What?
Do you not see me blasting twig and berry collection in every RPG thread? I hate it. That has nothing to do with why TR is better. Uncharted feels like an arcade game. Steal the golden chalice, shoot 400 guys, platforming escape sequence. TR just plays and feels better LoU has a totally different feel with MUCH better execution and pacing. The characterization is miles beyond Uncharted's as well, which is baffling since Amy Hennig wrote the Legacy of Kain series.

Nothing comes off of default settings unless the game feels to easy, then bump it up.
The game is not a survival game.

Too bad the online play is plagued with horrid matchmaking and cheaters around every corner for the PS3.
