Joel getting medieval while interrogating those two a-holes from David's group was my fav. "That's OK. I believe him." *pipe to the face*

Close second is Joel canoeing Marlene's head while saying, "You'll just come after her."

that's what I was referring to...it's the most decisive choice he makes. you're expecting some hesitation, but before you can process it he says that and puts a slug in her

the basement of the Pittsburgh hotel...yikes

This, re-played it a couple of months back and it still scared the shite out of me. The shrill screams coming outta nowhere in the dark is terrifying with a headset on.

There aren't 6 games that I had the indescribable feeling of experiencing greatness as I played them

This was one of them.

outside of the fact that The Pacific was a fantastic series

Well yeah, but literally anyone who has seen both will say if you haven't seen either and are going to watch both, watch the Pacific first because nothing can compare to the experience of Band of Brothers.

Exactly like this situation. Uncharted isn't bad by any means. But if you plan on playing them and TLOU back to back, I'd say most people would recommend playing TLOU second because you'll just be underwhelmed by Naughty Dog's work on Uncharted if you play it first.

Remastered on PS4. This may be the best game ever made. Dialogue, gameplay, cut scenes, plot twists.

It was like playing a part in a box office thriller.

Naughty Dog hit a homerun. Will finally try the Uncharted Games (remastered.)

Play the single player DLC Left Behind. Its really good too.

Just picked this up and looking forward to trying it out for the first time. I know it'd made by Naughty Dog and they also made the Uncharted series. What can I expect?

it's way better to not know...that's how I did it and my favorite games ever are the ones for which I had no expectations

It is up there, story is great but game play sucks. I loved every second but comes no where near Bioshock, HL2 and Portal 2.

it fits the story, setting and atmosphere so perfectly

it enhances mediocre and basic gameplay mechanics. makes them awesome.

i needed a new game to play. What else is just great? I remember playing KoTOR when it came out and was blown away by the story.

Let me step back, you are right. It is just mediocre. My disgust with the Uncharted series and most Naughty Dog games might me hate the mechanics since it reminds me of them.

Last of us and KoTOR is a pretty high standard to live up to.

Witcher 3 is great but it's sword fighting and magic.

it's mediocre, but put together and put in the context of the game it is perfect

now if they just stocked you up with ammo, then the shooting mechanics would stick out as meh, and so forth

the only thing that isn't masked by context is ellie. she just sneaks around nonsensically and then they don't even notice her.

i'm assuming it's a ps3 or ps4...if you have the time to sink into it, which I regrettably do not...everyone on the planet says witcher 3 is freaking incredible

i was alone in my mom's plantation home in the basement at 1 in the morning when i got to the power generator

also, i had no idea what the game was about. i needed something to play and it was on the shelf day of release and i just saw naughty dog, and i remembered some thread about it here and just bought it. that made the opening scene so authentic because like sarah, i had no clue what was going on.

Took me forever to find the generator. Runners everywhere. Never play this level stoned.

You know something's going to happen but it still exceeds your worst fears when it's a horde of clickers and a bloater.

I beat this first try on hardest difficulty and I started the generator before I had the swipe key and then i was struggling to find the exit. So many memorable moments in that game both cinematically and gameplay
