Most buy this machine as a Nintendo machine. They want to play Nintendo IPs and now use their Amiibos. Most really do not care about any other titles.

Nintendo can't support a machine by itself, and the Wii U proved that. Not only that, in a few of the other Switch threads everyone was saying that they wanted the Switch to do more than just play Nintendo games.That's why there's an argument over third parties. People don't JUST want Nintendo games.
I mean, the comment was that you think it would collect dust. I mean, it doesn't HAVE to do, there will, hopefully, be other reasons to keep it around, indies are definitely one of them given the portability.
Not only that, I should be specific on "Online Multiplayer." I think a big standout for the Switch could be the renewed focus on local multiplayer. Lots of good reasons just to buy indie versions on the Switch.
Who knows though. Could be wrong.
