The fact that has over 2 million views and overwhelming likes over dislikes and actual fans that go see them in concert reminds me how shitty this world is now.
Warpaint is a great band brother Drewbie.
Edt: I just posted something random (was listening) because of the way Dourden responded to the random 2nd post.

Not really surprised, the game is huge with kids. It has been dropping off somewhat so they better have another hit lined up.
Yes it is popular per Microsoft's statistics because 28-29 was the age group who picked it up. We are just saying it lives on because a new generation has in embraced it also.

I can't play stock minecraft graphics, I have to play with sphax textures at least.
Dam right.
I'm occasionally working on some stuff in a world with the TDGB mod pack and sphax textures.
Minecraft isn't always the most interesting game but it's fun to build something new and just look around when the mood strikes.

Honestly the wut was more directed at the it slowing down comment. That game still sells like crazy.

10-4
What was shocking is the 40% female stat. Then again I'm always shocked when player bases have a huge percent of female gamers, simply due to not knowing any female gamers IRL.

I know a few chicks who played the Sims back when, that is about it. Yes what I said was an ignorant statement but i'm just saying it shocks me when nearly half the player base is female based on my personal experience. This is wrong and i'm very aware of it, but still shocked every time a stat like 40% female player base comes up.

They might be counting phone app sales of the game as well.

My little brother loves Minecraft.
On a somewhat related note, I don't quite understand why people pay to watch other people play video games.

It's the last game to hit that almost unattainable statuses in video game history. It is that game that when it was released, it had enough character and originality to transcend video games as a whole. The graphics are pixelated which does two things, it gives the game character and taps into the nostalgia of us old gamers, and it also allows minecraft to be run on almost any platform. It is a game that has so much crossover ability (kids love it, adults love it, teens love it) Add to it that the game itself promotes creativity and building AND is marketed perfect, and add the mod scene to it.
It is basically this generations mario, if not bigger.
