I'm not really sure of the best strategies, but it gives me something to do every now and then. I log on, do some missions, fight some people, upgrade, and log off. I make sure to put all my $$ as quick as possible in the bank. I win alot of $$ off people that don't do that. I have 200,000 in the bank right now from fights and missions that I'm saving for more property and weapons when I hit 15.

Beerz thats basically what I've been doing as well. I think the more people in your Mob the more power you get. Also I've been saving my respect points. The don keeps upping the offer for them so I'm just gonna hold on to them for awhile.

crap, didn't know that... I took the $ and one more henchman. I just bought a bunch more weapons, a motel, and the stretch limo.

yea they just hooked everyone up thats didnt cheat, w/ 40 extra respect points. I spent 10 on $100K, and 20 on a henchman.
Dont waste ur points on henchman. I think it just adds 1 ficticious "henchman" to your mob. A waste of pts. You can just troll the msg boards to find player codes to add to your mob w/o wasting your respect pts.

just accepted ur invite emo. Not sure about the engery question. Think it depends on what type of mobster u are. I've been added a point to my engery every other time I level up. I'm @ lvl 11 now but have 15 possible energy.

I just signed up, and just randomly attacked within minutes of signing up:

you can't yet. I'm sure it'll come up in a future update. But I got 500 respect for not cheating.

ok I just figured out a way to make a lot of $$$.
pick someone in the fight screen w/ a low # of mobsters. click view. attack them.
check how much $$$ you make off winning the fight. if it's a lot (like over 1000) attack them again, and again, and again. however many times you can attack them til you run out of stamina or they get sent to the ER.
if you dont make much $ off of them then move on to someone else who gives you more $, and repeat
