Made a 6'5" slashing PG. Just finished my first season with the Kings. Upgraded up to an 80 ovr while averaging 23.5 ppg, 4.2 ast, and 6.3 reb with half of the season simmed. Participated in the Rising Stars challenge and the Dunk Contest. Made it to the Conference Finals versus the Warriors but unfortunately lost. Decided to sign with the 76ers to give them a guard, but to much of a surprise, they have also signed KD. So now the lineup is:

Me
Stauskas
Simmons
KD
Okafor

6th man: Embiid

Looks to be a promising season. How is yours going?

Got drafted to the bucks. Me and Justice led the league in FG% and we were in the top 5 scoring. (I was #3 and he was #5)
Justice was #5 in the league for assists and I was 3rd for steals. Won the championship and we both got traded to the Lakers

But neither of us were in the running for ROTY until right at the end. I finished 2nd and Justice finished 3rd. Even though both of our stats blew Simmons' stats out of the water.
Now in our second season (just got to the all star break), we're both All-Stars and we only have 4 losses on the season.

Honestly once you get to a 95 overall and get all your badges, it's so much fun to just ball out game in and game out. Been tearing it up online lately too in the park and Proam walkon. Just trying to get the shot Creator grand badge now

PG Justice
SG Me
SF Brandon Ingram
PF Serge Ibaka
C Mozgov
6th D'Angelo Russell/Julius Randle

How do you guys play that many games? I see where you said you simmed, but do you play any regular season games? Which ones? How long does it take to go through an entire season in MyCareer?

Just grind out for badges and attribute upgrades. The playoffs are where you get all kinds of practices without endorsement deals and whatnot getting in the way.
I played all my games in my rookie season aside from a handful I was injured for.
Play on rookie to grind out for badges and if you're impatient, sim after halftime.

It's ridiculous how long it takes to rank up. I feel like I've been grinding forever and I'm 10% away from all star 3

Makes all your stats listed above not impressive at all.

I played my first season on All-Star. Went to Hall of Fame for my second season until I read that you can play on rookie and get badges faster. So I just got all my archetype badges. Now I'm trying to get the grand badge before I switch back to All-Star or Hall of Fame.
It's just annoying because you lose the ball and stumble everytime you dribble behind your back. And you get called for reach-in before you even move your arm.

I'm only a pro 3 in park because everytime I rank up to 4, it resets back down to pro 1 for whatever reason. But I can't even play park anymore because I lag out whenever a team gets to 15 points

How long of a quarter do you run?

When I first started grinding for badges, I played on 12 minute quarters and on rookie.
I broke Wilt's record for points twice. And then broke my own record twice. And I'm averaging a quadruple double as a shooting guard
But once I got 4/5 badges I needed, I dropped down to 10 minutes. And now I'm down to 8 minute quarters on Pro. Once I get my grand badge, I'll probably go to back to All-Star/HoF on 9 minute quarters.

Drafted by the Bulls as a PG. I've just started but it's pretty fun so far. To the people who were traded, did you request a trade or did the teams trade you? I ask this because we have a PG logjam.

I had 2K15 on PS3 and the AI was horrible. I played as a PG and would feed guys in the low post all day. They'd do some wild spin and fadeaway brick well over half the time. I was able to shoot and pass with reasonable success - nothing too high or too low. But a wide-open feed in the paint to a big should result in a jam.

That's put me off the series, but I might grab the 2K17 for the PS4 if that's gotten better.

I honestly don't understand how playing a game on a low difficulty is satisfying in anyway.

I got it for $30 for PS4 this week. I hadn't played 2k since 15 either so I was hesitant but it's been pretty good.

I have a 6'5 sharpshooting SG. In years past, I have always used Klay or Lillard's shooting form, but I can't make jack shite with those forms on Superstar or Hall of Fame levels. Any recommendations on shooting forms that are easy to master?

At MyCourt:

Go to settings
Change players appearance/ exit accept changes
Same settings menu go to game settings (now can change game speed)
Change game speed to 75 or 100
Play 12 min qtr on rookie - clock will speed up and still get badge stats

Slashers are a waste of time you're better off making a point forward if that

Highschool one or L.A it's what I use on both my sharpshooters now and I believe online I'm averaging a little over 60% from the three
