Is it as good as LTTP?

it's not brief at all, especially if you explore and try and find everything you can.

I loved it and yes, it's better than a link to the past

Thats pretty big statement, I consider Link to Past the GOAT.

15 hours seems short to me.

it's a link to the past essentially, it's just retooled

the dungeons are awesome, the gameplay is great, there is creativity and variety in the world

who cares if it is better or not. If you like link to the past, then you'll love a link between worlds.

Some fun boss battles too

I've played LttP multiple times through. Could never get into Worlds. Just didn't click for some reason.

It's probably one of the best games I've played the past few years.

I did not play Link to the Past until I was probably 20 or so. I have no nostalgia for it at all. It was fun, but I didn't think it was as genre defining as those who played it growing up seemed to think.

Link Between Worlds, however, blew my mind. When I first finished it, I thought, "this must be how everyone else feels about LTTP". And then I started a new file and finished it again. So, yeah, I think you'll like it.

I'm playing this now. I am loving this game. I constantly have to remind myself of the 3D gimmick and remember to use that wall-shite to solve puzzles.

I hated the idea of renting all the items before I played it but my lazy arse immediately rented everything as soon as I could.

I did like that feature. Gave me a goal in saving rupies to buy them. Plus I love the energy meter instead of having to keep up with bombs or arrows.

I do really like that. I just got into the dark world, I'm trying to figure out which dungeon I need to be going to.

As oauron said, 15 - 20 hrs feels about right for what I put into it.

I wouldn't go that far since ALBW is an evolution of ALTTP, but it's a VERY good game.

The way they milk the 2D painting ability for interesting puzzle after interesting puzzle during the entire quest is amazing. Really fun dungeons that can be (somewhat) completed in any order along with great new items.

Skyward Sword made me worried about the future of Zelda. ALBW renewed my faith.

That's the part that kind of made me quit playing. Maybe I just didn't pay enough attention, but after finishing one dungeon, I was at a loss as to where to go next. Seemed like every one I went to was inaccessible and I just got annoyed running around doing nothing.

I think that's sorta the point though. I'm not sure its meant to be super linear. I have found a few clues on where to go. I got the bandits song for the dungeon in the village and I'm trying to make my way through that right now,.

Why is that? A Link to the Past was 16 hours long. The original Zelda was sub 10 hours long.

The only Zeldas that take more than 30 hours are the two Wii ones.
