I know this is a super objective question, but what is the best system between the ps4 slim and the xbox one s. I currently have a xbox 360 and some games so the backwards compatibility intrigues me, but also it seems that PS4 has the best games right now and the forseeable future. I just want to see what others think.

If you want him to throw $300 away, sure.

Buy the one that allows you to play with your friends and family. If that doesn't matter to you then buy the PS4 Pro.

Picking up a PS4 to start the year was the best gaming move I've made in a decade. PS4 has a far better game catalog than XBox. It isn't even close. It really isn't. Only Halo fanboys can even attempt to make a weak arse argument and in 2017 PS4 curb stomped the XBox even with the release of their next gen console.

Sure the new console has better specs but until they actually have great games to play who cares who has the fastest console with best specs.

It wouldn't be throwing money away. There's a very clear difference between the two concerning performance

I am leaning to the PS4 mostly due to the games. Also Shenmue 3 might completely suck when it is released but i have been waiting to play that for over a decade now.

I agree. PS4 was a great decision.

PS4 shits on Xbox in terms of games. Not close.

If you want games go with a PS4, games and graphics go PC.

If he's only playing at 1080p he is certainly throwing money away

ps4 blows away xbox in exclusives, but dear god the One X smokes the PS4 Pro in the graphics department. it was jarring playing fornite on each last night

play it safe and get both

Get the PS4. And wait to the next gen comes out. It’ll likely have backwards compatibility and will be more juiced than the X

PS4 hands down. Better exclusives and more.

I will add that Xbone’s backwards compatibility is clutch for game droughts.

I’ve been playing some Red Dead and Mass Effect for free since I’ve already owned the games on 360. Can’t do that on PS4.

I do play my PS4 more though, but that is primarily because I have more friends who play on that system.

you are gonna use Fortnite to compare graphics?

yes, the xbox one x is more powerful, but when the ps4 has all the games the slight difference in graphics doesnt really matter

tell me how Horizon Zero Dawn looks on xbox one x?
