i'll give that a shot. how do you reset it? I just unplug the power for 10 seconds

yea, I just unplug it for 10-15 seconds.

I get that they wanted to keep costs down but its really annoying that you can't turn the Roku3 off w/o unplugging the damn thing.

I would imagine because how could a PS3 app be able to tell what TV cable service I have?

You typically have to select your cable provider and login with your credentials.

So if you're traveling, even a legit subscriber will not be allowed to use HBO Go when on a different network?

I'm connected to my home network which has ATT Uverse cable, but not subscribed to HBO. So if I was connected to another network, I could probably log in.

EDIT: WOW, I'm an idiot. I was still logged into my ATT account page and that's why it wouldn't let me log into HBO Go.

No. I watched HBOGo on my iPad in North Carolina back in Oct using my home credentials.

Thanks for finally answering. Comcast is such a fricking shitty arse company. I bet if you called customer support and ask them if they support it, they would tell you yes.

I used HBOGO on my tablet last week while traveling - both at the airport and hotel. I have Uverse at home, no clue what the other wifi providers would have been.
